Anastasia, yes I meant the Rainier DNA. I thought the dark hair and olive skin came from Italy but Rainier was actually half Mexican. And his parents divorced because his dad was gay. At least according to google!
Actually, Rainier was a quarter Mexican - it was his father who was half Mexican. Personally, I think Rainier was more Grimaldi than Polignac - Princess Charlotte was darker skinned than Prince Pierre.

I think Gabriella will want to be a performer, like her grandmother Grace and her Aunt Stephanie. Albert and Charlene should start preparing now.
She’s a little ham . It seems going to school and being around kids other than her brother has made her more outgoing/exuberant. Same with George

Albert and Stephanie are lighter skinned than her.

Caroline also inherited much finer Kelly and/or Polignac features - the resemblance to Princess Charlotte is undeniable but Caroline is/was much better looking. Anyway, although I find the genetics and resemblance thing really fascinating, this is all a bit off topic for this thread... 😊

It looks like Gabriella has broken her leg. She’s in a pink cast in a wheelchair with Charlotte and Jacques at a dog show: https://www.instagram.com/p/CTr-J-SsVwa/No official comment how it happened. And she just started school!

And she just started school! Oh no! She doesn’t seem too bummed - I was always breaking bones as a kid and loved the extra attention It’s great to see them spending time with Caroline and Charlotte! I bet that was a fun event for them and I’m glad they have a close family.

Poor little moppet, something tells me it won't slow her down.
Happy to see her with other family members, we were just talking about hoping they were stepping in to fill the void of her mom being gone. All Caro's grands are close in age to them, forming close bonds now will be a blessing throughout their lives.

What a year for these kids. It’s beyond sad. It is nice to see them with family though.

Nice to see Gabriella around the rest of her family! Her broken leg doesn't seem to be a problem, she's such a happy, outgoing, creative kid!

Princess Gabriella is quite an outgoing little girl. That helps to make learning more enjoyable.

Poor little girl, what a pity that happened. I hope she makes a good recovery and heals well.

My child had an orthopedic problem and had an operation on his leg. He was in a wheelchair and cast as well to keep his leg straight. So her leg may not be broken but healing from something planned.

Luckily, when they are little, the bones heal really fast, as in 4-6 weeks. I say that as someone who shattered her lower leg in her 50s. Not a fun time at any age, but quickly over when they are little.
ps can I just say that time stood still when we had the Duke's shoulder vs Vail mountain, CO....which was only 7 months before disaster struck me. Also plates and screws for him followed up by an intractable DVT from calf to groin.
