She's not child, she knew Albert's oldest children existed before her marriage and they were a part of her future's husband life.   I don't see why this should give her emotional pain now when she is dealing with her own issues?

Frankly, I have a lot of respect for Albert for making it possible for the siblings to have a relationship and do it openly.

ETA, there are have been many occassions when his oldest kids were in Monaco when Charlene was around.  We may not have pictures but they've always been part of his father/family life.

I've seen several stories about her not treating his other children well.  One story is she moved his room away from the family rooms.  I hope it's not true but it wouldn't surprise me.  More power to the siblings, I hope they manage a close, supportive relationships and if cha cha don't like it TOUGH.

She's been gone over a year, the more people around them with support and love that's better for them.  They are so young, I'm sure all they understand is their mother has abandoned them.  Forget all the excuses, their reality is she is not around and they miss her, no explanations can give them comfort for that. 

It angers me they made such a big deal of her finally coming home and then she's away again.  It seems cruel to use them for photo op,  to build up the homecoming and then let them down leaving again.  I hope she doesn't come back unless it's to stay.

Mariola,  I hope not, I really do.   Depending on her issues (breakdown? addiction) the pressure was bound to press stress buttons with the world press watching.  It just wasn't a good idea any way around, who thought of it and for what purpose?

 IMO those children are too young to understand any of it, the homecoming was so confusing and over the top.  I blame faTal!!   to have photograpers, a strange, thin faced almost stranger manic with a big dog in the mix, it gave me anxiety just watching the video.  And then she was gone POOF gone again.  I hope there is a specialist having conversations with these two babes because IMO they are too young to understand, heck I'm an adult and none of it rings true from any angle.  I love their sweet little faces, I can't stand te feeling they are hurting.

They weren't born to mistresses as Albert wasn't married when they were conceived. They're her husband's kids, so I just hope that the rumors of her treating them badly are false.

The definition of a step child is the child of one's spouse by a previous marriage https://www.dictionary.com/browse/stepchild . They are not her step children. They are Albert's (illegitimate) children from an earlier relationship (not marriage) and they are the half siblings of her children. But they are not her stepchildren. And quite honestly Nicole Coste sounds like a PITA.

ITA. The photo is sweet, and it's nice (I guess) that there is a relationship there. But I would also hope Charlene is ok with a photo of her children being released in this way. I know of a celebrity ex-couple, where the Dad posts a lot of photos of his kids with his new wife, and has been criticised for not including his child with his former wife. He addressed the issue saying his former wife had requested their child NOT be shown on social media (the ex-wife is a bigger star than her former husband).
