I’m not sure if I’m reading this right but Gabriella is one sad-looking little girl. Not sure if she’s really sad or whether the serious faces, little to no smile is because she’s either intimidated or not happy with the media presence. It’s got to be be hard being twins, the heir and spare, living in a media circus/fishbowl with what appears as a not-so-great marriage of their parents and all the stories floating around. Kids can be so sensitive and Gabriella always strikes me like she’s not weathering this very well.

Emac I've noticed that too. She used to be such a happy little spirit, dancing around, smiling, always laughing. I hope it's the photos we're seeing and not her being unhappy. She doesn't seem to smile or laugh anymore, always serious.

Both of the twins looks hollow eyed, but I think Gabriella resembles her mum in showing her misery more. They look like children from a troubled home. Poor mites, I hope they have a happier time ahead.

They've had such a rough time with Charlene's absence and it seems to have really affected Gabriella. I hope things improve for the entire family soon and they find a way to be happy within their circumstances.
(I do think she could leave him without losing the children - but she would only get partial custody and she might not be willing for that).

There is one difference, which I suspect she has figured out. Gabriella is the first born. She’s been passed over as heir due to her gender. Anne was always the younger sibling.

Gabriella certainly seems the more vibrant and expressive of the children. I hope as they get older and come into their own they will be able to shake off any of their mother's melancholy that seems to visit their expressions and hopefully to a lesser degree their psyches.
