Silo (died 783) was the King of Asturias from 774 to 783. He moved the capital of the Kingdom of Asturias from Cangas de Onis to Pravia, closer to the center of the kingdom.

His wife was Urraca of Portugal.

Pedro I was the King of Castile and Leon from 1350 to 1369. Bishop Juan Lucero became subservient to the caprices of King Pedro I. The Bishop annulled Pedro's marriage with Blanche of Bourbon.

Ferdinand I was King of Leon from 1037 to 1065. In 1065 he invaded the taifa of Valencia. He defeated the emir Ab d al-Malik al-Muzaffar.

Sancho III (c. 992-996 to 1035) was the King of Pamplona from 1004 to 1035. He also ruled the County of Aragon. In 1016 Sancho fixed the border between Navarre and Castile, part of the good relationship he established by marrying Muniadona.
