Sancho VI was King of Navarre from 1150 until 1194.
He was the first sovereign to officially drop the title of King of Pamplona in favor of King of Navarre. This changed the designation of his kingdom.

Sancho I of Leon was a king of Leon twice. He reigned 956 to 958 and from 960 to 966.
In 966 Sancho founded the monastery of San Pelayo in the city of Leon.
