What I like about this woman is that she always manages to look interested and engaged in her charity visits. Perhaps because she really cares and doesn't have the need to pretend like other royals. She looks genuine despite her fashion mistakes sometimes. There is a spark in her eyes.

I was thinking the same thing about the photo of her at the table listening.  She really looks like she's not just listening, but also is interested and concerned.  She could teach a class on this, but then again it's not really something that can be taught, you just have to care.

Indeed which is precisely why I overlook days where her hair looks like ( in the words of Lisa Vanderpump about her own hair) she was "shagged through a hedge backwards."

Maxima, and Felipe, attend the GSMA Mobile World Congress 2015
Felipe and Maxima attended the "GSMA Mobile World Congress 2015" conference in Barcelona, Spain. Maxima too part in her role as the 2nd Special Advocate of the Secretary-General of the United Nations. The conference focuses on developments in the telecommunications sector.

Her face is almost unrecognizable in the 2nd photo.  Did she gain weight or have something done? Her eyes and face seem all puffy.

Max's work is subtle but she's had plenty done.

Shame she still can't master the use of a brush.

she has work done alright, but it may not be that bad - there's a pic of her speaking on www.modekoningingmaxima.nl. She's definitely done some between eyebrow botox (not overdoing it like Mathilde, thankfully) and possibly left out the fillers in her cheeks. They did look rather chubby in the most recent pics from Feb 24 (or whenever her visit wearing the orange top and brown skirt was) and the Lech photoshoot ca. 10 days ago. Of perhaps some fillers in the lines on the sides of her mouth. Or it could be photoshop 

Is she wearing Spanx - which we all know is compulsory in Spain.



PS: Renee Zellweger had overhanging brow/upper eyelid surgery to make her eyes stand out more. Max doesn't have that issue (you can always see the colour on her upper eyelid) so we can be sure that's the one procedure she'll never do 
And she smiles a helluva lot better that Renee's cat's ass mouth pout 
But Renee has better hair.
