Maxima looks GREAT at the opening of parliament (Prinsjesdag): http://www.modekoninginma...n/prinsjesdag-2015-maxima (link in Dutch). This is hands down my favorite gown. Definitely the best since she became queen.

Is this the main website for following Queen Max ?? TIA..It is in Dutch of course but I can translate using Google

Not sold on the last two day outfits.
The shift is IMO a tad short, but that's not even what bugs me. There is a defined waist which rides higher than her belt and that's too Mary for me.
The skirt-top/coat combo is off too. The "twinset" looks to be a strange material, acceptable but to match it with a patternd skirt? It would look better with a plain slim pencil skirt.

That's a very mmm interesting collection of gloves  the thing that surprises me the most about those gloves is that she saw the need to wear them in the Caribbean. At leats thrice

That was the same thing that surprised me.......
Especially the combination of a summer dress (no sleeves etc) combined with those leather (and other material) gloves.

When M?xima wore gloves at her first Queensday (2002) I think several Dutch were surprised. To me she seemed to be a bit too overdressed for the occasion. After some years of no or almost no gloves they came back. And apparently to stay for a long while.

Perhaps it's something with her skin or so. Often she is seen wearing only the left one (also discussed in the 2013 fashion article). Why!?

Linking of the gloves depend on the situation and outfit IMO. When combined with a summer dress in hot area it seems strange and/or overdone.
