According to Dutch news broadcaster NOS, the Dutch royals also had a minute of silence with regard to the victims of the assaults in Paris:

"....Koningin M?xima hield een minuut stilte in haar hotel in Dhaka in Bangladesh, waar ze is voor een werkbezoek, meldt het ANP. De koningin zou de gouverneur van de centrale bank van Bangladesh hebben gezegd dat ze iets later op de vergadering zou komen. ....."

roughly translated as:

"......Queen M?xima held a minute of silence in her hotel in Dhaka, Bangladesh, where she is on a working visit, reports the ANP. The queen would have the governor of the central bank of Bangladesh said that they would come to the meeting a little later...."

Queen Maxima started today a three-day visit to Bangladesh. As a special advisor to the United Nations, she talks to the Bengal government, banks and development organizations to improve financial services for small entrepreneurs.

Maxima is today in the capital, Dhaka, where she spoke with organizations engaged in lending money to entrepreneurs in developing countries. She also spoke with the Governor of the Central Bank of Bangladesh, about expanding mobile banking.

Earlier in the day the Queen in her hotel in Dhaka held a minute of silence for the victims of the terrorist attacks in Paris, the ANP reports.

The coming days Maxima visits include a clothing factory where she talks with entrepreneurs and employees about their experiences with loans and other financial services. They also have a meeting with a number of ministers and Bangladeshi Prime Minister Hasina.

IMO Maxima looks a bit unkept....predominantly because of her hairdo.

I really like Max and her lively spirit but this must be one of her worst pictures, she looks really  tired with a very dry skin, her hair is a total disaster and that dead lobster is plain hideous.

She did look a bit tired, however that could be simply age catching up with jetlag and ahem. Powerful combination, actually, everyone should be allowed to stay in bed with that. No seriously. I found that at her age (beginning forties) there can be these sudden changes. While jetlag never bothered you before, it suddenly does. You suddenly do better with some glasses (or longer arms), etc.

The pink dress (with the terribly made seam) is such a Mary dress. (including the seam)

Yes, the hair is in terrible condition, especially in the front - the short ones top of the forehead look like being actually broken.

And when we speak about forehead ... guess this pic is the proof that she's currently neither on Botox nor fillers.

She has my kudos for going on with her schedule despite of that kidney infection.
And having altogether three longhaul flights to/from Asia within less than a month would make anyone tired, even if the flights are first class.
It's 12 (?) hours from Amsterdam, with a 7 hours time difference.

Her work ethics and smile win over her hair and the Lobster. She must like it, otherwise she would not repeat it. I guess she gives a damn about what People think of her style,
because she's told off in the media very often and nevertheless, she repeats these things and always finds new ones to dish about.
I believe that she dresses for herself, not for the media, and she loves the fact that she may be exuberant from time to time, because I think that's her nature.

I really hope she's okay because she lost a "lot" of weight lately and it's showing not in a healthy way IMHO.

She looks much more refreshed ^ but still tired. Traveling like she has for her duties is hard on anyone and she is likely still recovering from the infection.

I am half her age and have been on 4 long-haul flights in the past 6 weeks and the jetlag has hit me like a brick  Add in the time difference and the sleep cycle is off. I rarely get to fly first class as I am sure Maxima does, but flying sucks regardless. But, I am sure she has a long break coming up with the Christmas holidays. It seems all of the RF's take at least a month off around Christmas and NY.

The Dutch gossip magazines also noticed Max's weight loss I saw in the local supermarket yesterday

They are using headlines a la "How sick is she really??", "Loosing a lot of weight!" etc.
