I hadn't even noticed the gloves until I read your post. 

Totally agree.  The gloves look stupid with this dress.

Love the dress for the opening of parliament. But  Confused it looks more like a gown for a gala than something fit for morning ?  Huh?

Love the hand painted (?) flowers on it and the inspiration behind the dress. The color and dress looks good on Queen Max and as usual she wears the dress instead of the dress wearing her..
