I once saw another interior photo of Bagshot with Sophie in a room full of wood panelling.... I also read a few years ago that Sophie's widowed father Christopher also lives there in his own rooms... He is usually invited  to Royal Ascot which is just a few minutes from the house. I am sure this is true as, with E and S travelling a lot, it is nice for the children to have their grandfather near.

There are two farms on the greater area of Bagshot Park. They are not part of the property leased to the Earl of Wessex and are independently managed by the Crown Estate.

What is the layout of Bagshot Park? Is the extra wing for staff? The one that looks like it's connected by a long hallway.

Bagshot Park is owned by The Crown Estate.  Edward and Sophie are tenants.

I really like this particular residence and grounds.

It's one of my favorites too. I think they have a 150 year lease or something like that?

It seems it has 120 rooms so they could take many refugee families, the other royals in other countries also.

By today's standard it is way too big. it is a reminder of old times with a Downton Abbey flair. Imagine the amount of staff, gardeners etc. they need to keep that in shape.

Security may be an issue, and vetting of the families.
