Doesn't help that Mary's hair look like hay.

Fred thought that he was marrying the better looking out of the 3 sisters.  Was he blind? Oh what a question!!!!
She is a clone of Jane even with all the blepharoplasty surgery and all the fanciness and fussiness.
She left as Mary and came back as Jane. My!

Nerves That is a very rough-looking 45. With all the Danish tax money that Madame undoubtedly spends on her "beauty" regimen, how can her skin be that dreadful? Thinking

Dont forget the sun is very strong in Australia. Even if one does not actively tan, just the exposure getting in and out of the car etc causes cumulative damage.

The really odd thing is that Jane, the eldest of the four children, doesn't have the damaged looking skin that Mosh or Patty seem to have.  Even Patty's face doesn't seem as prematurely aged as Mosh's face seems to be.  I think that most of what we're seeing is due to her starvation diets and all the unnecessary bleaching and other procedures she's had done to excess over the years.

Maybe it is because we now can see her inner-self --- which isn't pretty  Tongue

A mixture of harsh lighting, hard Australian sun for almost 30 years, unfortunate genetics have all contributed to her skin looking less youthful than she and many Dishers would like. It's a pity an expensive (or an inexpensive) skin care regime can do so little for our skin; the only people benefiting are the skincare companies. All that's really left to women who try to hold back the ravages of time is botox, fillers, or a straightforward hauling of one's eyebrows into one's hairline, and cheeks behind one's ears. None of which ultimately look terribly good, sadly.
