So he drops into the pub while they're getting this guy in the helo or what? How irresponsible if so! Even if it's because nature's calling.
To be fair, they had landed the chopper in a field behind the pub and were waiting for the police and ambulance to arrive. He had a few minutes for a quick loo break. And I can't believe I am actually defending William's loo break.

William hard at work today...texting. "MaMidds, it's me, your golden ticket boy...the paps just got the shots of me "back at work" so get my cheese toast ready, 'cause your wittle boy is on his way home!"

Granted he isn't the pilot so I'd imagine the actual pilot kept the helo going since turning it off while you wait like that is so irresponsible and not what's done. God he must be a peach to work with. Funny how paparazzi are always on the scene!

The staging of the scene is a bit suspect. Commentary or unfortunate scenery?

And I can't believe I am actually defending William's loo break. The entire story and the fact that it was released has something weird to it. Haven't papers got more important things to run? Otherwise, it just seems preemptive, as if they're trying to excuse behaviour that the public wasn't even aware of. Confirms suspicion, though, that William really is useless in his capacity as "extra pilot." And the photos above aren't doing him any favours, either.

Interesting that previous "news" stories about William's work tried to make him out to be a hero. Now we see him texting and we get to read about his bathroom break. Not quite the flying ace anymore....

I actually think that picture is not behind the pub but on an actual airfield or landing pad, the lights and signs seem to suggest that.

I love the way the last posting on this thread was nearly two years ago! Shows how much the whiny one actually works.

I was wondering about that special course in agriculture (or agricultural management) he was supposed to do. Did it ever happen?
