I don't think anybody knows except for Will himself. There was an announcement that he was taking the course and even a few pix of him going out of town to attend the course. There was no announcement that he completed the course.

I think it is like anything else he's done, he jumps into something, gets bored with it, doesn't finish. He wasn't raised with a sense of duty or work ethic so he doesn't care. He can do what he likes.

Based on what I have seen from the outside, and read, I think William was raised with the example of a sense of duty and work ethic on the part of each of his parents, and his grandparents. There was some sort of disconnect though and he didn't see it or if he did he didn't absorb and adopt the need to do the same thing. He must have heard his grandmother's speech at 21 about devoting her whole life to the service of her people, and I can only assume he doesn't think the same rules apply to him or that he has a very different definition of what his job is, and that he knows better than everyone who has gone before him.

I was wondering about that special course in agriculture (or agricultural management) he was supposed to do. Did it ever happen?
Oh yeah. Wasn't it an independent study on estate management or something to prepare him for taking over the Duchy? I seem to remember he showed up earlier for a holiday (?) when he still reportedly had another week or two to actually finish. If he did not finish, he should. Once he becomes PoW he will be in charge of a large estate for the rest of his life. If he did not finish... his parents, nannies, teachers, did him a disservice. However, he is now an adult and needs to take responsibility and power through the things he starts whether he gets bored or not.

That was only fairly recently. If he did't finish it he deserves a kick in the butt.

He started in January 2014 and it was supposed to last 10 weeks. IIRK there was very little coverage after he started. This next fact is a bit irrelevant but during the same time (Q1 2014) he performed only 9 engagements over 6 days...so hopefully he was busy studying. https://www.royal.uk/cour...5D=31%2F03%2F2014&id=

Well, the proverbial *they* have tried to bill William as the successor to previous generations of conservationist, environmental semi-activistic royals. Patron of Tusk Trust, savior of rhino horns from evil Chinese bounty hunters, etc. No one really cares anymore about Prince Charles and the anti-fertilizer movement, since it's become quite common (read: trendy) to use compost fertilizers that are not harmful to the environment. So that fight is over. Philip was about rotating crops and cross-breeding seeds and shit at Sandringham. Charles was about letting the bugs live in the soil, but William, as he is branded, is about regulating the ivory trade in Africa.

But he still hunts a lot (I have no real issue with hunting especially when it's for a species that's overrunning the land, it's sometimes necessary), and just whinges about how George and Charlotte need to see rhinos and elephants which equals his 'conservation work'.

I would pay more attention to what William says about conservation if he said he would like his children to be able to see Scottish Wildcats, water voles, hedgehogs and Greater Mouse-eared Bats, too, but it seems not all endangered species are equal to William. He should take an interest in the threatened species native to his own country if he is to have any credibility on the world stage, IMO.

I agree. It is all about me me me me instead of about real conservation, if you ask me. I want to see these animals on safari, when I go on one of my many vacations to Africa to see Jecca, or whatever, is what I hear when he lectures about it all. Conservation is important in every country.

Doesn't he usually go to rugby things when Wales are playing in Cardiff? It's fun for him so therefore he'll show up!

In-season, legal deer stalking in Scotland and then shooting birds at Sandringham once a year for the purpose of culling --- neither of those things is comparable to hunting rhinos for the horn to sell on the black market!!!!

The birds that are shot at Sandringham are bred specifically for that purpose. They only need to be "culled" because someone - in the past it was Prince Philip's job to manage their production - ensured there were so many birds there that the needed to be "culled". Those birds only exist because the royals and their friends enjoy killing them. Incidentally, sometimes even elephants need to be culled because their population is too large to be supported on the land where they live because there is not enough food for all of them and if they are all allowed to live there won't be enough food for any of them. It's a complicated subject.

I'm glad you have your methods of achieving a healthy self-esteem. Peace and blessings. This way of replying to a fellow poster is not okay.
