This veil was handmade for Princess Stephanie of Belgium for her wedding to Crown Prince Rudolph of Austria in 1881.

It is exquisite. Poor Stephanie was always considered ugly. To be fair, to compete with Empress Sisi, who was hailed at her time as one of the most beautiful women ever, would be daunting for most women. Judging by the photos of Stephanie, I'd say she wasn't ugly by all means, but not very pretty either.

Stephanie's gown was beautiful as well https://www.hellomagazine...ss-stephanie-bridal-look/. I thought it was the very best she's ever looked.

That is a beautiful gown and veil.

I still like the dress of Mŗxima, it seems so deceptively simple, until you discover, among other things, the embroidered side panels of the skirt.

I love the dress, but when I look at it, I just see nips.

Those darts (seams) are placed in an unfortunate way, to be sure.

M-Mís is still my all time favorite. The square neckline, beautiful draping, train. She was perfection that day. The gown enhanced her.

I didn't liked the coat of ML's dress, but I think it was a nice, clean cut dress underneath that coat:
