What a great cause!

We let a little portion of the pasture go to weeds for the butterflies, this is a Monarch Butterfly route to Mexico. I'm fascinated by them. The day of my mothers funeral I saw yellow butterflies everywhere, now when I see one I say Hi to my mom.
Goodness she's getting so big, I'm really wanting a recent family pic, they grow so fast.
A friend of mine lost her mother some years back and when we left the cemetery there was a rather big yellow brimstone butterfly (they are called lemon butterfly here) right in front of us, so close we could have touched it.. back home we sat in the garden (thanks god no wake) and had a cup of tea and there it was again, the loveliest and biggest lemon butterfly I remember and my friend said: "hi Mom"
