With a nod towards MJ, these are the new privacy masks.
The masks avoid the messy scarves and windy day hazards.

First we have the Pss Char model:

^Lovely in peacock.

And the P Geo model:

^Fierce in the hawk feathers.

When Kate and William were engaged with the iconic blue sapphire ring that once belonged to Princess Diana, our sapphire ring sales rocketed. Women everywhere wanted to be just as fashionable as Kate. Today, we continue to grow as a business and it is with great joy that we celebrate the birth of a new royal. We’re thanking Kate and William for introducing our company to the world, by gifting a custom designed baby rattle, fit for their Princess.

Heh. My engagement ring is a sapphire, and when we were looking for stones, we were told to steer well and clear of The Natural Sapphire Company.

I'm sorry but... they couldn't donate 45k to a deserving charity in Charlotte's name? Really? Snare Talk about blowing good money - do they really think she'll use it? Roll Eyes Same with all those gifts George has been given - 90+% of it he'll never see, let alone use. Thumb down So, seriously - why aren't they asking/demanding people to just donate money to charity in their child(ren)'s names or, better yet, sending off those toys to a children's hospital and/or clothes to a shelter? At least then someone deserving will use and appreciate their gift(s). Snare

JMO but these gifts get to me because you know it's just being thrown into a pile Snare No

Why?

On a gemstone forum that I frequent, there were frequent accusations that their images online were photoshopped. The CEO of the company came on the forum and not only confirmed it  Huh? but also confirmed that some of their stones which are sold as pairs, are actually the same photo of one stone in the pair, just flipped. His excuse was that it cost too much time and money to photograph each stone individually so... let's just take pics of one and pass it off as multiple stones. I couldn't believe he actually admitted to this; every single stone is unique, and if you're pricing your stones in the thousands I better damn well be getting the exact stone that I'm paying for.

Then he went on this bizarre rant about some disgruntled employee that had hacked their website and stolen their domain and ran off to India or something. To make things more complicated, another poster popped up claiming to be his lawyer in India and just added more fuel to the fire.

We planned to spend a lot of money on my engagement stone, and I didn't feel comfortable giving it to such a sketchy company. Ended up going with an individual vendor who was very happy to produce as many photos and hand shots and videos under different lighting as we wanted, and we're very happy with the stone we finally received.

Ha, I know the forum and the discussion about this company, NSC.

It just drives me nuts that the most wealthy and famous people get expensive material objects for FREE!!

I wouldn't mind so much if it were a lesser known/famous person who is getting maybe a few dozen fans or companies sending them stuff but you know very well these kids and their spoiled parents are probably getting HUNDREDS of "gifts" from people on top of several dozen (or more) companies sending them stuff. And not just for their birth but for holidays, birthdays and any random day of the week. And they aren't seeing a high majority of it, let alone actually using it! Such a MAJOR waste!! Thumb down

(Another frustration: Waity passing off the things she doesn't want/like to her greedy family. Ugh. But that's for another thread... Tongue)

Someone like Candace Cameron Bure - DJ from "Full House" - gets freebies from companies (and being completely honest about it) but - and this is great, IMO - she gives away most of it to her church, charities, shelters, etc., and asks her fans to send stuff to do the same as a good deed or if they are wanting to send her stuff. THAT'S how you do it right, IMO! Thumb up

Sorry for the rant but it just ticks me off when I think about how many kids there are who are going without food, clothes, shelter and toys - while these people are being drowned in gifts for absolutely zero reason Snare Thumb down

CHARlot. At least, that's the english way, AFAIK.

In Denmark, it's a three syllable name, charLOTtuh. But in English, it's SHARlot.

That is obscene.  1. The original ring has no connection to this company, so this is just piggy-backing.  2. $45,000 baby rattle?  Are you joking?  3. They're not supposed to accept gifts, so if they accept this it's just grasping.  4. $45,000 baby rattle?  Really?  5. It's horrid. 6. $45,000 baby rattle?  No, still can't get my head around that. 7. $45,000 could have been so much better spent - and in your own country - than on this... thing... for what will be one of the most spoilt and pampered children alive.  If the company has $45,000 to spare, do so on deserving children, not the spawn of two work-shy benefits scroungers.

So W&K can't get their baby clothes and their poor nanny has to pay for them? What else does the poor nanny have to pay for? Diapers?   Blink

It's interesting that Spanish royal family hires British nanny and British royal family hires Spanish one. I guess they still want to invade each other's territories. The Empire dreams die hard.

that was a sweet gesture of the nanny and great that w&k actually had charlotte wear it for her world debut.  they obviously must be fond of her.

i agree about the free gifts they get, but unfort. all the royals are given lots of freebies (even though they don't need it), though the uk may be even worse because they are the uk, so i can't really single them out.  for their wedding they did ask people to donate to charities instead.
