It's a big shame too. Just once in a while official pics would be nice. Also I would imgaine, it must be somewhat confusing - like George visiting the hospital - to suddenly meet people, once William decide now is the time to become more public Crazy

I didn't like it when George was born and I still don't like it now that an 89 year old great granny has to visit the baby instead of two healthy 30+ year olds and the little one (who live just a few minutes away) are visiting her. Seems like I was raised very differently.  Snare

I think this is ok, is like with the wedding you are invited you will come no matter your age, if you are feeling ok, the same goes with the birth...it's their one minute fame, so I don't mind HM coming over to see the little one, I think everybody do it this way...the mother, baby and their family are just trying to figure out the regime around the baby

Kate and the kids are likely going to Bucklebury Palace and Willy will be headed towards Anmer. It was probably easiest to let the Windsors visit and sign the BC at KP before they split up.

The Queen is a complete pushover when it comes to whiny. Notice Phillip is in London and he's not going out of his way to meet the baby.

I'm confused as to why Liz and Phil didn't head back to London together. If they had left together then they could have both visited. Wonder if Phil was annoyed by the change in WK plans, especially since last time George was born in July yet wasn't introduced to Philip until September.
You'd think a young couple with a new baby and unlimited resources would make the effort to introduce a sick elderly man to his great-grandson.
