I didn't want to clutter the wedding thread any more so let's start a new thread for Snakey's jewellery. I'm sure there will be plenty because greediness is strong in this one...
The wedding tiara:
A gift from the king and queen but no idea whether it is a new design or an antique one. It looks like it's made from diamonds and emeralds (if the stones are real or natural; might be synthetic) and in the style of belle epoque with motifs that look like palmettes or honeysuckles. Not exactly the prettiest design. I think the top stones should be upside down with the sharp tips facing downwards. Also not very versatile unless the emeralds can be replaced. I cannot see if there is a velvet base.

Here are some other palmette tiaras for comparison:

I really like palmette designs but I don't understand the emeralds with a purple/orange scheme.

The cynic in me wonders if the orange / purple theme was chosen by Sofia months ago to open the way up to be lent the Cameo or Amethyst tiaras. Both would work with those colour flowers. But then the family threw in a curve ball by gifting her a diamond and emerald tiara. She will now find it harder to borrow other jewels so none of the heirlooms become associated with Sofia.

It is notably ugly as is most everything else she has worn. The only thing I am sure of is whoever chose this tiara doesn't like Skanky very much.
It looks like rhodium-plated sterling silver with average quality emeralds. It is so pointy, too. It reminds me of Snakey's
fangs
teeth.

Victoria regrets loaning her dress and jewelry to Sofia
Anything she wears now just looks cheap

It just looks miserably stiff/unbalanced/uncomfortable/unshaped to the head. Some tiaras seem to have an adjustable base to allow for different sized heads/hairstyles. This one is rigid and too small to be a full head loose hairstyle and/or too big to be an updo tiara.

She has very little classic jewelry IMO. Most of it seems to be costume & a bit gaudy.

That's exactly what I thought when I looked at it up close!
Those emeralds are so similar in shape to her teeth. Maybe it is indeed the perfect tiara for her.

I kind of like the tiara, because it reminds me of evergreens. It's astonishing though that it was
NOT
designed with interchangeable stones. The gems wouldn't even have had to be expensive! Pearls for neutral, aquamarines for blue, citrines for yellow, kunzite/beryl/tourmaline for pink, garnets for red. Whoever picked it out was definitely not considering what would be useful for a new princess. It's useless unless she wants to wear green and neutrals all the time.
