Maria and Thomas,
Can you make it easier for Board members to get to the last/most recent posts ? On the home page, you list most recent post (date/time) by forum. But to get to this last post you need to go to the first page of the forum and then click thru to the last page? If yo look at RBHQ there is a 'last' button on the list of forums. Am I missing something? Thanks.

I have talked to the developer of the forum about this and he unfortunately didn't think it was a problem. So I have wanted to make a button myself. Problem is I haven't done any programming in Perl before and I also have to figure out how the forums runs (what files are used to do what etc.). I am amazed. Everytime I come to this board it is growing. The RB has slowed down quite a bit but also Fred and Mary aren't really doing anything. I'm guessing with Mary pregnant and slowing down and maternity leave over the summer on her part there really might not be alot to talk about all year.

I'm always confused with the posting times as I think the board automatically shows Danish time. - OK, now I'll go and find out if I can do it. Using female logic I thought asking the question first and then trying to find out about it after that...  - Sowwy... Oh well, sorted that out myself... thanks for reading this, though! DIANA! Hello y'all, what a great and fun place. I got so fed up with all the sweet sugar coating on the other boards (plus christmas cookie) that I am looking forward to a healthy dose of good food. Reading all the names here, it is like reading Kendras list of most wanted.... . Good to see you all, and thanks to Maria and Co for going thru the troubles to building up this forum. |
