I was just musing about some what-ifs and I realized that I didn't have a lot of knowledge about...royal brides going to the altar pregnant.

Two come to mind:  Gloria T-N-T, and Maddie of Sweden ( a generation apart).

Anyone else that we collectively can think of?
IIRC, Made was only a few days pg at the wedding, and most likely did not even know. It turned out well for them either way :-) I love Made and Vic. So sorry they have been 'saddled' with the well ridden mare of a sister in law. How different it would have been, had it been Emma.

Considered by Roman Catholics to be the Queen of Heaven, a Jewish girl named Mary was altar-bound and pregnant too. Smiley

She sounds familiar.  I think I may have heard about her. Tongue  Beer
Rumor has it she thought her son was so wonderful that "He walked on water."

I was most impressed with his cooking skills. Like he could literally blow Iron Chef contestants out of the water, or any of those "feed the guests" Masterchef challenges. Who else can serve water that taste like Mouton Rotshchild? But I'm still curious about Cupcake Wars. Betcha he can win it too.

And as a royal, he's literally down to earth.

You guys slay me..... Supercontent

I was asking this because I read a sugar story involving Harry and a thinly-disguised version of the 'author' that a friend of mine forwarded. It involved the situation outlined, because the author/heroine had resisted his advances until just before the nuptials....leading to an extra sexy and glowing yet demure bride.

I called it 'My Pretty Pony Wedding Sweet Harry Sighs.'

Some of the pregnant brides, some far more obvious then others

Princess Gloria (about 3 months)

Maddie (based on Leo's birthdate, she would have only been less than 2 weeks along, if Leo was born on time)

Margarita Bourbon-Parma and her second husband (about five months)

Caroline with Stefano (about four months)

And EA (3 months)

Clotilde and Emmanuel (6 months)

Princess Olga (three months- they had a 3 year engagement though so definitely no shot-gun)

Philomena and Jean D'Orleans (barely over a month)

Mathilde Borromeo and Prince Antonius von Furstenberg

With regard to his cooking skills, what about serving a crowd of people bread and fish based on a single bread and fish?
