I think Pierre owns shares in his late father and uncle's business or something like that. I don't think Stefano Casiraghi was that rich, but Caroline is. I would be very surprised if the Grimaldis hadn't set up trust funds for Andrea, Charlotte and Pierre. I really don't know if Beatrice's family is extremely rich. I think they mostly have a good family name which comes with a title, but Beatrice and her brother Carlo don't have the title because their parents weren't married. Beatrice's dad, Carlo Borromeo, left his wife for Beatrice's mum, Paola Marzotto, had two children with her, and after a long time of being with her, he went back to his wife, Zota. Whether Beatrice's dad has money or not, I can certainly say he made sure his daughters married well!! Her half-sisters are all married to people with money! Isabella Borromeo is married to Ugo Brachetti Peretti, who is a member of the family owning an energy company, and I think he also works in the energy and oil sector. Lavinia Borromeo is married to John Elkann, CEO of Exor Group which includes companies like Fiat, Chrysler and Ferrari. He is the grandson and heir of Gianni Agnelli. Mathilde Borromeo is married to Antonius von Furstenberg and I don't know what he does. Her brother is married to a fashion designer, Marta Ferri, whose designs Beatrice often wears. It annoys me that she's trying to portray herself as an average woman. Average women cannot afford to go on holiday in St Barths every few months, or sail the Italian Riviera for two months every summer, or attend fashion week etc. She grew up privileged, she has totally embraced it in terms of using connections to get jobs or places at universities, and enjoys the perks of being rich, but she's completely failing to at least acknowledge it in the interview. I don't think there is shame in it. Her family inherited the money, they didn't steal it, and I think it would certainly make her more likeable if she acknowledged that she has it better than most people, because she's not surviving on her reporter's salary. She writes a column for a newspaper, and I doubt this pays that well. A reporter's salary cannot pay for a house in Monaco, or trips around the world, or designer clothes. blue Euro Royals: Prince Antonius von Fuerstenberg and Countess Matilde Borromeo While he was engaged to Borromeo, he studied visual graphics in Milan. Prince Antonius Hugo Egon studied visual design at the Nuova Accademia Di Belle Arti (NABA) in Milan. He has been married since 2011 to Countess Matilde Borromeo Arese Taverna, who studied agricultural science and administers her family?s property. The couple lives in Milan with their two sons, Prince Karl Egon and Prince Alexander.

beatrice & pierre were at the anlaids fund raising events in milano- it's a charity created by gianni versace in 1992 to raise money to battle aids. since his death, franca sozzani (vogue italia's editor in chief) organizes it. it is a charity night were all major fashion houses offer their seasonal most beautiful items to the anlaids auction, and you can buy them for whichever price you want to offer. i think it is a noble action to do and yes, everyone who attended the anlaids auction was dressed to the nines and was rich and beautiful and famous, but charity is also made of these events, otherwise lions and rotary would not exist. today,in capri, giovanna battaglia (vogue japan editor) marries her beau,a swedish millionaire i know nothing about. do someone have intel? it will be a 3 days celebration and beatrice & pierre are invited. i hope for some beautiful pictures of beautifully clad people, even if i agree that beauty lies in the eye of the beholder .

Wow, I hope my husband will be at least a little more supportive than Pierre here Looks like he doesn't care at all ... Different people can need different sorts of support in these situations. I lost my brother and my mother within a year, a few years ago, and at my brother's funeral I had to stop my husband from comforting me. I pushed his hand off me at one difficult moment and I know that hurt him but if I hadn't I would have dissolved into a blithering mess and I didn't want to do that in the front row of the chapel. The only way I could maintain control was to detach. I had to be strong for my mother because I had to look after her and wheel her around in her wheelchair, and it took every bit of willpower and strength to avoid breaking down. The only way I could maintain control was to not allow myself to receive that sort of physical comfort. What I needed from my husband was him just being there to stand beside me, which is what Pierre seems to be doing.

Yes, I'm sure it's very different from person to person, but I have the impression you can see Pierre's body language clearly express annoyment ...

I have to agree. Pierre's body language was very closed off. The hand in pocket while she held on his arm is telling. She's clearly emotional. Even if she didn't want him to touch her, a loving husband would still cast some concerned glances toward his wife. He didn't look in her direction at all. I don't follow them at all. Didn't he get caught with another woman shortly after theI read 3 weddings ? What happened after that? Is their marriage already on the rock?

^^^ He's got sunglasses on. I wear sunglasses at funerals because I tend to get upset at funerals. Maybe he gets upset at funerals, or maybe he feels this particular loss. Of course maybe he is just a cold, insensitive, unsupportive husband, but I'm not prepared to condemn him on the basis of these photos alone.
