Beatrice has nothing of Grace except for being an ice cold blonde. She always looks good but if there is a personality there I cannot see it. The pattern on the other woman's dress is very interesting but the chain on the shoe strap is weird and doesn't work for me. Rich people trying to be punk is ridiculous sorry.

She is what she is! She married young (ish). Had the 2 boys quickly. Got over the pregnancy / baby stage quickly and is now enjoying being young, attractive, rich and having heaps of fun! Why not? Seems intelligent too! |

I don't think she ever tried to be Grace. Comparisons to Grace are usually made by the press or by people. it is also ridiculous when Camille is compared to Grace "being as beautiful as her", a paper recently wrote.

I agree she has that something that Grace had as Princess of Monaco. OK so if you agree that Beatrice should be her own person why did you say this. Of course she is her own person but she is comfortable in the lane Grace built. By comparison Grace wins not by superficial discussions of physical features they are both beautiful objectively speaking but by the fact that Grace oozed character and a kind and warm charm. Beatrice emits very little she keeps her character to herself and those who know her it doesn't naturally emanate from her. So the comparisons ultimately fall flat for me. |

But Beatrice position in Monaco is very different from Grace's. She is only the wife of the youngest son of Grace's daughter. She has no obligation to represent Monaco, that is the job of Charlene. And, honestly, if Beatrice or any of the other brothers or sisters in law decide to keep in the background, they might well do that. It is no comparison with royalty in other european countries, just my opinion. |

I'm not talking about her position if she really has a formal one in Monaco. Just her character and personality. Grace's looks without Grace's character. Beatrice reads as a blank slate for me. That's all I'm talking about. Whether she is a kind or mean person or silly or serious is also not what I'm talking about. Aesthetic impressions if you will sorry if that wasn't clear.
