Well in the interest of trying to find something nice to say in the new year I was going to say that at least she's not afraid to wear an up do.  But considering the women of Sweden do up do's on a regular basis (especially tiara hair) it's not that big of an accomplishment unless you are comparing her to her English mentor.

I'd also like to say that her tiara looks incredibly cheap to me.  I'm sure the diamonds (if they are real) and emeralds cost a pretty penny but I've seen better tiaras in the doll section at the toy store in the Disney section.  Nobody rocks a tiara like a Disney princess.

I do believe we have said often enough to stop mentioning Kate all over the board..

It appears that she has dead roses in her hair (as opposed to live ones).

it's about as fresh looking as the corsage I dried from my Junior High School dance many many moons ago, just like the person who is wearing it  Whistle

Her hair looks greasy. She should opt for a short haircut. Thus she would differ from her sisters in law and would underline her image as a progressive, dynamic woman. But probably this would not fit into her simple toddler's idea of a princess.

I don't know if she has enough good looks for a short haircut.

The roses are paper roses.
Obviously chosen to match her paperlike, extreme dry & wrinkly skin around & especially above the eyes. Why does she chose powder eyeshadow instead of a creamy one which would not emphasize the dryness even more?

The closeup shows how bad the makeup really is - also the blush (which looks like false done contouring with a visible line on the cheeks).

The first thing I thought when I saw a close up of the hair was that she has re-purposed some flowers that she received from Alexander's birth. I was waiting for the headline saying that she pulled them from a gift from CG.  Halo

I laughed so hard when I saw Sssss's stupid super-sized bun, it's so ridiculous. My evil heart thought instantly of how much fun it would be to give it a good yank! Spiteful Yes, she looks better without the center part, but the comb over just accentuates that huge forehead, vein and moles. Lipstick on a pig, you can change the hair style but you can't change the ugly mind underneath.

Not just the hair but the neckline actually accentuates another mole...  Secret Someone needs to photoshop Sssss's bun a bit bigger!  Banana

Is she trying to show rank via the size of her bun?  It would be one thing if it was tiara hair, but in this outing it's just too much.  But to think about it, her tiara would get eaten by that bun.
