In just nine days: Mary planning to travel to the terror-stricken country.

Princess Mary should be in just nine days on a trip to Burkina Faso, when news hit that on Friday night it was hit by a terrorist attack.

Four or five armed men stormed the Splendid Hotel in Burkina Faso's capital Ouagadougou Friday night. Several hostages were taken at the hotel, which is known to house foreign journalists, politicians and diplomats.

The attack may have implications for Crown Princess Mary, who in a few days would travel on a official visit to the impoverished African country. On the Crown Princess calendar on the royal family's website, it appears that from 24-26th Jan she shall visit Burkina Faso with Foreign Minister Kristian Jensen.

During the visit, Mary would look at women's health and rights and the country's democratic development.

"The Crown Princess, together with Foreign Minister visit the health facilities in the capital and in the countryside and visit the locals. There will also be visits to a clinic, where there will be the opportunity to talk to young burkinab? on their access to information, contraception and health services",writes the Royal Family on the website.

Where the Crown Princess and Foreign Minister Kristian Jensen would be staying, is not clear. Right now it is unclear whether the terrorist attack will have consequences for the visit, but the security situation has apparently changed in the country which, unlike neighboring Mali are not accustomed to terror.

Err, the attack may have implications for victims and their families and all the citizens of the country. This has nothing to do with Mary. A simple report stating 'CP Mary's visit has been/has not been cancelled following the attack. CP Mary expresses sympathy etc etc" would suffice.

OMG - Billed Bladet - stop with the bullshit already!

Why are they so frantically trying to push her down everybody's throat. One nonsensical article after another   of course the visit was cancelled. She would have never been allowed to travel there.

Crown Princess Mary has to postpone travel after the terrorist attacks.

Crown Princess Mary's planned trip to the West African country of Burkina Faso has just been canceled at short notice.

The Crown Princess, together with Foreign Minister Kristian Jensen has been raised to the uropr?gede country already on Thursday, but now it has been decided to cancel the trip after the weekend's deadly terrorist attacks. Crown Princess Mary, who do a great work for women's rights, should have visited the country, despite huge fragile political stability is working hard to get democratic development further.

During the visit was to crown princess having visited some health facilities in the capital, and she in the country should have visited and met locals and including talked to young burkinab? on their access to information and knowledge about contraception and health care.

Much of what work was set back by the weekend's terrorist attacks in the capital Ouagadougou, where a large tourist hotel, which is known for hosting diplomats and journalists, as well as a restaurant was attacked and 22 people lost their lives and injured another 15 seriously.
Condemn the terrorist attack

It is the Danish udenrigsministerieum that exposes the journey because they do not believe they can secure the crown princess safely, as the situation is right now.

 - Due to the security situation, it is unfortunately necessary to expose the Crown Princess, and my visit to Burkina Faso. But I very much look forward to complete the visit as soon as possible, according to a statement from the Foreign Minister, adding:

 - I would like to reiterate that I most strongly condemn the terrorist attack. Burkina Faso is a country that has shown unfailing commitment to democracy and terrorists must not be allowed to destroy the people's desire to live in peace and stability, says Kristian Jensen.

Dear Billed-Bladet:

How about instead of focusing on this vapid twit and her colonial visits, you write an informative article about the terror attacks?  Or do you assume that your readers won't care about that?  If that's the case, then this speaks volumes about the "quality" of your magazine.   Roll Eyes

Crown Princess Mary and Mikkel Hansen: on the pitch in prime time

The Handball star Mikkel Hansen experienced his time on TV showing at Denmark's matches at the European Championships in Poland. But tonight on TV 2 at 21:25 Mikkel will be on the field with Crown Princess Mary in the documentary "Mary and Mikkel against bullying".

Crown Princess Mary and handball star Mikkel Hansen have joined forces and work together to stop bullying. It happens across their own initiatives, Mary Foundation and Mikkel Hansen MH24 - Association Mikkel Against Bullying.

Tonight, Tuesday, January 19 at 21:25, TV 2 dazzles up for the documentary "Mary and Mikkel against bullying" that includes both words and pictures and the cooperation that the two major profiles have sparked.

The Mary Foundation and MH24 will involve other partners in the development of the project, including Save the Children, and the plan is to long term develop a concrete well-being program, which can be tested in the summer 2016 and offers sports clubs in the autumn.

Crown Princess Mary and Mikkel Hansen to fight against bullying - Gang of something good.

The talk of a possible collaboration between the Crown Princess and handball star started in spring of 2015 and soon it was clear that there was something going on well.

TV 2 has followed the whole process and has been on the sidelines for board meetings, the Crown Princess conferences against bullying and Mikkel Hansen special events for children.

Both the crown princess and Mikkel Hansen has also spoken out about their cooperation to TV 2 sport Thomas Kristensen.
