get a job, Alex, ffs.
Pardon me, what is ‘ffs’? And it seems she has at least one job, author. Two, if you count the lecturing stint at IU. Three, if you count the directorship. Please explain the ‘get a job’, as it sounds rather nasty in its delivery. I’m sure you didn’t mean to be vicious, no/yes?

It’s considered VERY rude . for your second paragraph.

I really liked the previous house. Classic. Remind me why she sold it in the first place?

We don’t know. Perhaps it was due to the divorce.

We don’t know. Perhaps it was due to the divorce. I think it has a lot to do with the divorce. It’s the home she shared with Martin and she likely needed to start from scratch. Start a new life.

Of course I don’t know what you meant. Hence my question, and (polite) request for response. If you choose to interpret my question as being ‘baited,’ there is certainly nothing I can do about that. But I certainly can draw my own inferences based on the stridency of your language and word choices, and the edged sharpness of your response to a fairly simple question.

This kind of tone with other posters isn't acceptable here.

She's never been accused of being workshy that I remember Curtains So nice to read your comments again. Curtains: Great that you are back. She was hard working as a princess and that rescued her ... you always had the impression she would have been willing to do more but was forced into the background when Mares and Marie came on the scene. It has more to do with the former impression people had of her. In the Martin years she was busy with looking young, flipping houses in Turkey ....

Alexandra has been interviewed by TV2 (it's airing tonight). On their website they show this clip http://underholdning.tv2....terview-broed-ud-i-taarer. The interview with Nikolaj is a surprise. He's asked what he's learned from his mom, and his answer is that that he's learned to take responsibility, help other people and stand up for what you do. She obviously gets very touched by his words.

IMO she achieved three things: (1) she was a great princess with a great sense of class, (2) the boys turned out beautiful, (3) no matter what the reason of the split was - they handled it classy, with dignity and they managed to maintain a good relationship for the well being of her boys. There is even (4) she tried to move on, unlike other people clinging to their titles/positions (like Fergie, Tessy ....) but she failed on a lot of levels. But she tried to re-invent herself.

Oooh thank you for the link! I don't think I've heard her speak before... I don't actively seek out her videos.. or even if I did, maybe I saw one of her formal speeches but definitely never conversational or candid interview. To me she sounded very much like the interviewer or her son... To the Danish speakers on the board, what do you think of her Danish... either she's a good linguist or she worked her butt off... Cantonese or Mandarin is not the easiest basis to learn European languages on... even though obviously she learned English as a Hong Konger...
