Even when recycles an outfit, she still has to treat herself to something new...this time a clutch...so the whole ensemble is rarely ever totally "recycled."

Unbelievable that while owning 12 pairs of almost identical back suede pumps, she won't find a single black clutch in any of her three closets (KP, Anmer, the one at Mum's place) which she could have reused today.

And who guarantees that the black dress underneath has been previously worn? We have only seen the bottom 15 cms ...?

I believe that shiny pillbox thingy is also new. She recently swapped from forehead-pinned fascinators (of which she owns at least 4 or 5 in cream white) to backhead-pinned pillboxes, so I presume she had to buy a cream white one to matchy-matchy it with the old Catherine Walker coat.

Where is the problem with adding just a BIT of color here?
Admit that the clutch is kind of development, as it's a) not a box and b) has *shocking* a pattern (as opposed to what she normally holds is plein), but, hey, the coat, some shoes in 3 three colors, and repeating one of the shoe colors with the clutch and the other with the hat?
Would have hurt to much, I guess.

Funny enough, the grandmother updo, combined with the pillbox and the collar of the coat makes her look like a nurse.

Not that I really like the collar solution of Eugenies trenchcoat, but she at least has some distraction with the flower on the hat, and the black clutch and ditto with Beas curtain dress, hat & her clutch taking up the lilac of hat adornment.

I am a huge fan of reptile patterns and I would have loved some snake-patterned shoes and clutch with Kate's outfit.

Just wondering, are you tracking in British pounds or US Dollars?

Also, not trying to cause strife but I suspect that her Bespoke Emilia Wickstead coat is much higher than $2000.00. Many Emilia Wickstead wool blend, Ready-to-Wear coats cost around $2000.00.

This 100% wool 'Foster Tuxedo Jacket' from the Emilia's AW2017 collection appears to be the same material

The price tag:  $1,520.00

Us dollar.  It's the reason I updated the earrings they're 3500gbp, which is about $4500.

Previous wickstead she's worn bespoke has been estimated around 1500 for dress, so the coat my be from 2000-3000. I'm assuming she gets a discount because bespoke can cost whatever the designer asks. I put the low ball and say "minimum value" to be conservative I guess. But that could be too high if they give her deals or way too low if the press give incorrect estimates.

Can we talk about how ugly and AGING this dress is for Kate?  Poor fit, awful color considering how she wore it with her BEIGE shoes, BEIGE hat, BEIGE earrings.
Just UGH.

She paid $3,500 for that dress?  And Alexander McQueen is actually acknowledging having made it?  Yikes    That dress is appallingly unflattering on her!

She looks like she could be the kids grandmother. The dress looks like something a much older woman would wear. And I cannot believe the price--$3500? This is the best she could do with that kind of money?!
