Regarding people's comments about under-eye bags, it's actually super trendy right now to give yourself really full under-eyelids with makeup or surgery! It's supposed to look fresh and youthful. It's called "aegyo sal" or "eye smiles". I know lots of people who try to emulate that look.  Smiley

That first pic reminds me of that creepy meme of the girl smiling while the house burns in the background. I can't link the pic from my phone.

Totally!

Yes, that's it. Thanks! Smiley

Typical Mosh-styled photo.  Why in the everliving hell is she off to the side with ugly pillows front and center?  There's nothing visually interesting by taking the subject and shoving her off to the side.  Mosh must think this is "artistic".

You suck as a photographer, Mary.  You have plenty of lackeys available for your family portrait-taking.  Leave it to those who know what they're doing.

Isabella has become a pretty little girl.  She was not a cute baby, IMO.  None of their kids were cute babies, IMO, especially X and Josie.

I have always had a soft spot for this dear girl. I remember when she was born, it was a good time in her parents marriage, they seemed their happiest. I think her birth was one of the first big dishing events of the new Royal Dish website.

Agree Pixi. Here is another example:

No photographer who knows what s/he is doing will have the subject face the sun/light directly. The subject can't keep her eyes open due to the light. Plus, it washes out all the details of the face and makes the background in the shadow. That's not how it's done. Pay some tuition and take a photography class, Mosh.

It seems that Izzy and some schoolfriends celebrated her birthday at TIVOLI: "I was in Tivoli today (read: Thursday) and saw the Princess with Mom, Dad and schoolmates, they amused themselves "splendidly" I can tell you. Isabella was clearly a very happy 9-year girl. CONGRATULATIONS !!"

Good for Izzy.  I'm glad she had a fun outing with her friends.  I'm just surprised that since Mosh was present, photos weren't released.  She has a way of always making sure cameras are there to just happen to catch the moment.   Roll Eyes  Fred must have put a stop to that.

Izzy surprisingly sort of resembles her grandma Henrietta. I thought she was all Freddles.

Wow, that quite a resemblance.  I've always thought she had her father's eyes, but her mother's nose, mouth and chin.  She has some of her mother's mannerisms as well.

I definitely get a less motherly vibe from Mary when she's with Isabella, but I'm sure (I hope) it pains her that she's not that loving to one daughter as much as she is to the other.  I've always found it disturbing how badly dressed, and neglected looking Isabella looked as a young child in comparison to Josephine at the same age.   Sad

I see the resemblance in the nose and mouth, but those eyes (IMO) are all Fred.   Thinking

Maybe. IMO Isabella has a resemblance to Mary's sister Patricia Anne. Smiley

Happy bday Isabella!!!!!! She seems to be grown with grace!

TBH at first I couldn't figure out if there is a resemblance with anyone of her maternal or paternal family but since I've read here she looks mostly like Daisy, I saw it. Not strongly, but it was there. And now I don't think she looks like anyone else. I still don't see so many similarities with her grandmother but in comparison with other members of the family, Daisy wins!

I think Isabella is a gorgeous girl, she has beautiful eyes and a sweet smile. And for sure she will grow to be a pretty lady, For what is shown, her personality is very contrasting with her mother, the only thing in common is that both has a strong personality.

Because it isn't polite and smacks of bullying, I have always tried to refrain from making comments about the physical appearance of children. But quite honestly, I have never thought that Fred and Mares children were attractive, and this is especially true for Josie. So I have to admit that I am quite surprised to see how pretty a young girl Isabella is growing up to be.

Happy Birthday to the young Princess.

Well, i find really hard to judge kids by beauty standards. Kids are generically cute, but never "attractive". More often than not, it's easier to judge people by appearence on their teenagers years. Before that, they change a lot.

lovely  Smiley

Why does she have such dark circles & puffy bags under her eyes??

If anyone knows the secret to this, let me know. NO amount of sleep/rest/makeup tricky hides my horrid under eye bags. I HATE it.
I already realized that Mary fashion choice for her children is not the prettiest of all, and it always bugged me as Mary herself seems too conrced about her own clothes.
But... kids don't need make up. When she grows up, like most women, if she has too many dark circles or anything else that bothers her, she'll wear make-up to correct anything she wishes with her private make up artists and hairdresses. But at this age, there is no need for that, right?  Thumb up  Isabella will have her whole life to worry about. So for now let's just let her be what she is... a child
