I guess I just don't see the problem with Stenhammar going to CP's family line. It doesn't mean Victoria and Madeleine will be left without inheritance. There's still Solliden, the villa in Saint Tropez and the house in Storlien for them. And Alex doesn't have to keep Stenhammar if he doesn't want to. The will clearly states that the duke of Södermanland has preferential right to lease the estate, if he or his guardian so wishes. If Alex decides after grandpa is gone that he doesn't want anything to do with the estate then he is free to pass it on to his father, brother or any of his male cousins.
And that, right there, is the core of the issue. CG made so Alexander is higher or equal in status with Oscar. He isn't. CG is all about status so it's a slight towards Oscar and towards Victoria. Who does that to their child and grandson? Someone vile and selfish. Oscar and Alexander have the same royal status as any other of CG's grandchildren. Oscar is just a little higher in the line of succession. CG decided simply to favor the male line, not specifically CP or Alexender... We don't know what Victoria thinks about this decision but one thing is sure: she has never expressed any resentment towards her father. She even choose, against swedish tradition, to be accompained by him to the altar the day of her wedding. Hardly a sign of disapproval towards her father... Oscar is the son of the future regent. He will likely work as a royal when he’s an adult. Alex is the grandson of a regent and will likely never be a working royal. They are not equal in status.
You can have your opinion on CG being an awesome parent because no one has spoken out about him certainly. I’d say Victoria developing an ED and Madeleine practically fleeing the country says more than enough about the parenting of CG and Silvia.

Alexander joined his mom at the inauguration of Project Playground's new premises in Umami Park in Sundbyberg outside Stockholm earlier this week. He already looks like he wants nothing more than to get away from her. She is the smuggiest smug who ever smugged.

There’s probably something distracting him. Trust me, if I had my kids in a new environment and you took our picture you would think the same thing about us.

It didn't take Snakey long to drag one of her children to one of her PP gigs.
Using Alex as a shield from criticism is so transparent a tactic it is shameful, but seeing as she is shameless this is right up her alley.

Why would you even bring an almost three year old to an office opening? That's what this was...right?

Well sure, but there’s a dead balloon on the floor. Hours of entertainment.
