Prinsjesdag (English: Little Prince's Day) is the day on which the reigning monarch of the Netherlands (currently King Willem-Alexander) addresses a joint session of the Dutch Senate and House of Representatives in the Hall of Knights (Dutch: Ridderzaal) in The Hague. The speech from the throne (Dutch: Troonrede) sets out the main features of government policy for the coming parliamentary session. The occasion is prescribed by the constitution, article 65. (source: Wikipedia)

According to tradition this event takes in general place on the 3rd Tuesday of September

What the heck is Max wearing? And Laurentien (she is wearing some sort of a bra  Jumping) looks like a member of the Adams family. Maybe they should colour-coordinate like the SRF?

Laurentien's outfit is apparently based on a hauberk, which was worn by knights

See the links to ModekoningMaxima earlier in the topic Smiley

Maxima:
She was wearing a two-piece dress consisting of a midnight blue silk Armure top and a gold-colored silk satin double gabardine skirt. This skirt is decorated with blue night guipire side and small sequins in an asymmetrical gradient. She wears a matching gold Parabuntal hat. The designer of the dress is apparently: Claes Iversen. While the hat, which isn't new, is from well known hat designer Fabienne Delvigne. Maxima has worn the hat before at the wedding of Albert and Charlene in Monaco.

Pinned on the waistband of her skirt is was beautiful sapphires bow brooch of Queen Wilhelmina pinned

Laurentien
The gown of Princess Laurentien is a joint design of Hardies The Hague and Talbot Runhof. The inspiration of this gown is a chainmail which is a protective vest that was once worn by soldiers and armor. It is made of metallic knitted stretch jersey.

The fascinator is a design by Evelien Gentis of Eudia: Made of three different layers sinamay. Wherein the two outer layers are black and the middle layer is silver, in order to match the color effect and the silver sheen of the dress. The fascinator is decorated with a pleated crinoline.

Laurentien wore the dragonfly brooch from the royal vault. She also borrowed from Maxima's jewelry box the Chandelier earrings from Cartier.

Beatrix
Beatrix wore a beautiful blue deux pieces.
