It's absolutely ridiculous that he isn't the crown prince  No.  He puts Fred to shame every single time he makes an appearance or takes an official trip.

He most definitely does.  Yes I think he's fantastic and I'd wish he was more loved by the public. However, I guess it's the fate of the spare - to be ridiculed so the heir looks good.  Thumb down

March 23
TV 2's "Good Evening Denmark" gets royal visit on Thursday, March 23 - when Joachim comes to the studio to talk with Mich?le Bellaiche.

Prince Joachim was recently on a very important working trip to Nepal, where he helped to highlight CARE Denmark's work to help the most vulnerable Nepalese far away from the capital Kathmandu.

This travel and the special efforts, the relief organization CARE provider in the region, is what the Prince will talk about to TV2 host Michele Bellaiche who will welcome the royal guest on "Good evening Denmark" at 17:25 and 18:25.

Billed Bladet was with the Prince's trip to Nepal and spoke among others with him the consequences of the earthquake that hit Nepal so hard in 2015.

- "I was very much affected. No matter where it hits, hits it hard. But obviously it hits harder in the case of poor countries. It punctures the country, and all the relief work that is in progress is put on hold. On this one trip we were also indirectly affected by the forces of nature. Originally we should have been able to reach a certain distance, but that was suddenly impossible, because there had been a landslide that destroyed the road. Probably because of the earthquakes two years ago. That's the rules of the game in Nepal, and we were told that it would probably be two years before the road is made again", said Prince Joachim to BilledBladet.

TV 2's Michele Bellaiche is looking forward to a visit from Prince Joachim, whom she has a lot in common with. She has written a little bit about on Instagram: "We're both half-French, half-Danish. Our fathers came from France to Denmark the same year, and they married both in 1967, each with a queen", wrote TV host.

What a contrast with the shameful episode where the other wealthy two were handed gifts. Didn't they just discard the packaging on the ground for the peasants to pick up, under the indulgent eye of Mama? Or the time they were dressed up as king and queen THEMSELVES, rather than giving other kiddies a chance?

April 7
Joachim visited, as patron, the exhibition "Wasteland" at the "Danish Architecture Center" of Copenhagen.
In Denmark alone produces 11.7 million. tonnes of waste per year. In the exhibition 'Wasteland - from waste to architecture' looks sustainable construction group Lendager Group at how waste can become the new architecture - the new resources. We know by now the importance of recycling, but it really comes to pushing the boundaries is "upcycling".

In upcycling process, the material is not only recycled but recycled to a new, improved material.

The exhibition demonstrates Lendager Group example. one of the first buildings built by upcycling recycling concrete. Such Danish pioneer projects are examples of how the positive trend towards an increased focus on sustainability and circular economy in society, can turn into concrete projects with substantial environmental and economic gains.

Joachim participates in the opening of the special exhibition "Henry Moore - bordering North"
For the first time in over 30 years displayed the world-famous sculptor Henry Moore (1898-1986) at a special exhibition in Denmark. The art museum in Tonder show from 29 April to 3 December 2017 about 90 sculptures, drawings, prints and fabrics that paints a picture of an artist with an extraordinary talent and an incredible artistic range.

As a museum of Nordic art is art museum in Tonder got a unique opportunity to show a wide selection of Henry Moores works in a special exhibition, which has been named "Henry Moore - bordering the North". In an interaction with central parts of the museum's collection of Nordic art from 1940 to the present day, one can see how the Nordic art and Henry Moore have more in common than one might think.

Some years before Henry Moore died, he set up a foundation which he transferred most of his collected works for. The Henry Moore Foundation, the Fund came to be called, was to help young sculptors financially and provide for the future dissemination of his work.

The exhibition in Tonder has been developed in collaboration with The Henry Moore Foundation and continues to Nolde Museum in Seebüll, which displays 4 Henry Moore sculptures in Nolde's garden. The museum is located just under 10 km from the barrels on the German side of the border.

"Henry Moore - limits to the north" is opened by HRH Prince Joachim April 29, 2017 at. 15 of the art museum in Tonder

Nice color combo in Joachim.  And it fits well.  Not like Fred who keeps wearing suits from his teen years ... and to bed.
