If I slip into my generous mode, I'd argue that Sofia simply steals from the best, which is not a bad idea in most respects. If I go less generous, I'd argue that she's ridiculous to try and copy Madeleine because she's bound to look "less than" in comparison.

Madeleine is the most beautiful born royal of her generation and Sofia, even on a good day, will never be able to top that. Comparing the two amethyst pictures, Madeleine's hair is ridiculously perfect with the tiara simply being the glittery icing on the already flawless cake. Sofia (and her hair) looks cheap, flat and dull. Her face is hard, angular and I cannot unsee the warts.

Now, some of it, Sofia can't help. She doesn't have Madeleine's beauty but very very few people do. There's nothing wrong with that. The main problem is that Sofia's inner ugliness reeks through. Even wearing a stunning tiara, she looks cheap and unpleasant because that's what she is.

Sofia is a cliche in every sense of the word.

What makes her life so intriguing is not ANYTHING that she herself has done, but rather how she highlights the stupidity and scumminess of the SRF in allowing her to become a representative of Sweden.

In fact, the only thing I find that truly stands out about Princess Epic Fail is the fact that it is taking her forever to get the outer image to look sophisticated and elegant.  The inner snake will always be repellent, however I would have thought that she could have done a better job with the outer image by now.  I would have thought she could have faked it all a bit better by now.

CP definitely went bargain basement shopping for a wife.  I say this often, and I'll say it again, he should take his prize and go be a Mr. & Mrs. somewhere off the Swedish payroll.

This!  Star

It doesn't matter if she is wearing the world's most beautiful tiara and jewels and the most gorgeous gown ever created.  It really doesn't.

She'll always look trashy, because the inside pours through to the outside.  She is one of the rare people in this world whose exterior matches the interior, and it simply cannot be masked.

Someone like Infanta Elena, who is not known to be a conventional beauty, often looks quite lovely.  She's probably a very lovely person on the inside, and it shows.  Sofia, on the other hand, has the face she deserves.  And regardless of how she wears her hair or what tiara she's wearing, all that shows is ugliness.  Perhaps if she stopped being such a terrible person, and started to just focus on being a better version of herself, instead of trying to copy and outdo Madde all the time, she'd look better.   Thinking

Just saw Sofia and CP were added to the Representation Dinner on the calendar.  Please dear God have Sofia repeat a tiara and not get to wear ANOTHER new one.

Well who is surprised that she signed up for the dinner?

I don't think she will ever skip a gala dinner if she is not seriously ill or had a baby the week before. When a normal day at work means having a new outfit for only about 2000 USD, gala dinners adds up her daily "wage" to at least the double. I must say that I understand her very well, if your boss expects you to work three days a month, why work on boring days when you don't get paid what you deserve when you have the opportunity to work on days when you get a decent compensation for your big effort AND when there are cameras around.

Of course.  If it's not a meeting for their own foundation, a hospital graduation or some Project Playground BS - Sofia has nothing to do.  How else can you justify making her a Princess and living off of taxpayers if she never does anything.  The only work CG can guarantee her are family events like this one.  I read Vic is attending the dinner as well - she will outshine Sofia as always.

Sofia, darling: trutle neck shirt and long hair down it's usually a no-no. In your case, it's definitely a no-no-NO.
And didn't swedish taxpayer payed so much money on your teeth treatment? How long will last and wher the first results will be seen - concidering that it's not a usual, conventional method the one she followed, shouldn't be more fast-resulted?

No flowers, no flags, no ribbon cutting? Are you sure this is a royal visit?

Sofia held a speech. You can watch it here: http://www.svenskdam.se/2...ning-till-vardpersonalen/

(translated by Google, sorry Blush)

As honorary president of Sophiahemmet I have had the privilege to learn much about today's health care, both the rapid progress made in health care and its challenges. I also know that today there is a great concern by many where health care is heading.

Therefore, I want to highlight the positive things happening in the Swedish health care. Both the large and the small things.

For example, is the enormous progress made in research. Today we have completely different possibilities to cure diseases and save lives than just one or two generations ago. To mention just one example: before 1970 died over 90 percent of all children who weighed over a thousand grams at birth. Today survives almost 90 percent. It is a fantastic development!

When S?dert?lje Hospital first was established in 1907, no one could probably even imagine the advanced medical care that we would have access to today, 110 years later.

Those of you who work in health care - you do magnificent things every day. It may be a disease is detected in time. A concern addressed. Or a child that is born.

All that stuff that might be routine and everyday life for you, but that means everything to the people you meet.

The reason we are here today, at the inauguration of the New S?dert?lje Hospital, is also part of a positive trend. Stockholm is growing rapidly. We who live here are becoming more and we are getting older. We also have access to more information than ever before, and new digital tools.

This is something development health services must be able to meet, and that is where this great venture is an important piece of the puzzle.

I hope that these modern facilities will give all of you who work here even better conditions to perform your important task - to provide safe and accessible emergency care to a growing population.

I hereby declare the New S?dert?lje Hospital inaugurated.
