She's a brainless Stepford Wife-bot.  She's spent her life following coaches' instructions.  She goes where she's told and does what she's told to do without thinking about it, and that includes the massive disfiguring amounts of plastic surgery.  The very first interview she gave after the engagement, when the interviewer asked how she felt about becoming a princess of Monaco, she literally looked at Albert and asked him, "What do you want me to say?.  IN FRONT OF the camera.  She's an automaton.

LOOOOL, so following a person's instructions that achieved great things, is a bad thing? I rather think not, that doesn't even make sense facutally. BTW, generally coaches are extremely accomplished people, who have succeeded in a field of sport, and received accolades themselves - so thank god she did, because she was successful as swimmer.

Intersting read:

Monaco, the entire principality is no bigger than Central Park, thanks to the reforms and tax breaks (notably a 0% rate of income tax) instituted by Albert’s father, Prince Rainier, Monaco is the richest country on the planet. Its streets are jammed with supercars, tens of millions are wagered in Le Grand Casino every night, and the combined value of the yachts in the harbor would wipe out the national debt of many a sovereign nation.

But, for all that, there’s not much to do. Spiteful gossip fills the gap nicely.

There are a lot of very bored women in Monaco. And when Charlene arrived on the scene it was almost too good to be true. A girl from South Africa, with short hair and a natural face marrying the Prince? They laid into her.

Charlene, it must be said, has not helped herself. In an interview with British Tatler she said she hadn’t made any proper friends since moving to Monaco. "Although I have met some wonderful people since I’ve been living in Monaco, I regard them all as acquaintances. I only have two people I consider friends here," she said.

She also didn't learn French well enough, which has gone down badly (although it should be noted that Albert’s first language is English, which he spoke with his mother, Princess Grace, and when he speaks in French, he stammers, a legacy of his domineering father to whom Albert was obliged to speak in French at all times).

The Monegasques resented Charlene from day one. They felt that a middle-class girl from an unsophisticated town in South Africa simply wasn't grand enough to fill the shoes of Albert’s mother Grace Kelly, the legendary Princess of Monaco who died in a car accident in 1982 on one of the serpentine mountain roads on the French side of the border.

At the best of times, her future husband’s tiny, ancient, and exceptionally moneyed principality is not an easy place to find your comfort zone. Though few palace pundits predicted the relationship would amount to anything, Albert had silenced skeptics by insisting Charlene decamp there. It was a testing time. Lacking any official status and unable to speak French well, Charlene lived alone in a small apartment with few friends to support her; she was thousands of miles from home, and her vivacious South African wit and no-nonsense attitude were lost in translation among the notoriously frosty Monaco beau monde. “It was sometimes overwhelming,” she recalls of the solitude and jealousies she suffered as Prince Albert’s girlfriend. “I was trying too hard to please too many people and at times was at risk of losing my sense of myself.”

Eventually, Charlene’s unassuming personality and raucous sense of humor began to win her friends—sporty and statuesque, she is the kind of woman who will joke to fellow guests at charity galas that she is the only woman in the room to have devoured her entire dinner plus two bread rolls. Through it all, Albert never wavered in his devotion, presenting her with a pear-shaped Repossi engagement ring a year ago. “I fell in love with her sense of humor, her simplicity, and the natural way she relates to people,” he says. “To me, Charlene never looks more beautiful than when she is natural—without makeup and her hair pulled back.”

As for the responsibilities that come with her title, Charlene feels that her background will help. “Sport has given me drive and discipline,” she says. “It also taught me to remain humble.” For the past fifteen years she has been involved in charitable endeavors centered on swimming. “I don’t want to be a princess who sits on the sidelines; I want to be present and actively involved,” she says of her new role. “It’s a life with a purpose. It was my integrity that Albert fell in love with, and it’s a quality I will never lose.”

Thanks for posting. It's such an interesting relationship...there is something so off, but in the beginning there must have been some spark.

It was in 2010 after her engagement with Albert, she was stressed  but she suceeded very well after , times passed ......

And now she is giving  good interviews as the one I published later on this tread, it was in South Africa and she spoke about her foundation

For a person without brain, she founded her foundation in 2012 and it workd very well,  there are two offices, Monaco and South Africa, her foundation is known for his work in the world. She met a lot of persons who are working in the world to avoid the drowning of the people  specially the children, there is also the South Africa Monaco exchange which is a  sucess with the  Saint Devote rugby tournament, she is the ambassador of the international red cross society for the first aids to bring after an accident , she is also now  patron of the lisaving society in Monaco and in South Africa.

She was with Pierre Frolla the founding of the aquatic center of safe living in Monaco where all the pupils are learning the first aids to bring in case of an accidnet in the sea.

Very soon after her wedding, she attended public events in Monaco alone , visiting  schools, maternity, home for old persons , handicaped persons or handicaped children.

You can see the work she is doing with her foundation on the tread  ' Princess Charlene foundation' and the news that Loubna is publishing

Yesterday , she visited the home of old persons and she brought her children

They're so precious. Jacques' expression here is so funny Wink

Charlene still looks like she can't believe her luck with these two.

those children are absolutely adorable with their bright little eyes and adorable ringlets! I love the twins have different hair colors!

Char's face is barely moving though, it's a little unappealing to see. What has she done do you think?

I think that's difficult to say based off of a single still photograph.

I've noticed in other pictures of her with her children that her smile is "limited"   It must be the botox.  Her natural smile is beautiful. Someday her children may be able to see it, once the fillers wear off.
