Next week, Felipe and Letizia are going to host a state visit to President Macri and First Lady Juliana Awada.
For the first time the official reception is going to take place at the Royal Palace instead of El Pardo, a bit like the one Felipe premiered by occasion of the visits of President Obama, President Marcelo and President Mattarella.

Schedule
February 22nd
- Official arrival ceremony at the Royal Palace, Madrid (military honors included);
- Lunch at La Zarzuela hosted by F&L;
- Gala dinner at the Royal Palace.

February 23rd
- Opening of ArCO fair in Madrid - Felipe and Letizia accompanied by President Macri and First Lady Juliana are going to attend the opening of ArCO fair in which Argentina is the invited country this year.
- Farewell dinner at El Pardo hosted by President Macri and First Lady Juliana Awada.

The president signing the guestbook of the Royal Palace of El Pardo, where foreign dignitaries stay during state visits. Until this state visit the official welcome ceremony took place in the entrance of this Palace, but Felipe has decided to change it to the grander and centric courtyard of the Royal Palace.

Wow, this woman looks fab. I even love those weird shoes. It is going to be a fun fashion event, thrilled to see what Leti has planned...

I had the chance to see Juliana Awada in person once, in a work event, and she is gorgeous!!! I have developed quite a girl-crush since them...  BlushGrin
I think she and Letizia will get along very well.

This woman reportedly owns her own fashion lines but from the pictures I've seen of her, I'm not impressed. It's pretty "on trend" but not original.

I started following her on Instagram after her husband's swearing in. I love 95% of her style.

Leti looks more professional and seamless; Juliana less put together and slightly messy in an effort to be 'carelessly chic.' The evening events should be interesting.

Fur collar, lace dress, stubbed shoes.... she tried too hard, reminding me Mosh. What happened to her feet?!  Yikes They belong to a 60 year-old's.

New earrings for Letizia? Or are they Sofia's?

Marci held her hand during the Argentina anthem and then he put his hands behind his back once Spanish anthem started. It's not very professional.  Thumb down

Letizia looks more pulled together and classic of the two at this event.  I wonder if they coordinated colors or just coincidence.

Although I will say Juliana is more bold and has more fun with her clothes, and that may prove more interesting in eveningwear.
