Looks like the lady on her knees before Waity was more comforting her child and supporting the child giving Kate flowers than anything else, though the angle sure looks like they were kow-towing to her!

Where do I start? Someone needs to remind her of her age, since she has clearly forgotten. If that skirt had one extra panel it might have been an appropriate length for someone her age and in her position, although then it would be too frilly, so it's cut would have to be altered. I love the colour though and the jacket is nice. The suit as she wore it was quite inappropriate for an outing involving children where she would be likely to have to bend down a lot. It's certainly not the thing to wear playing pool! This was an engagement that called for a pants suit. And the hair! That hair should have been tied back. She's far too old to be wearing her hair like a teenager. Her appearance puts paid to the theory that she and her husband set their behaviour according to HM's. Do they seriously expect the public to believe that they don't hold hands in public because that's not what HM deems appropriate, when she goes out representing HM on an official duty dressed like a teenager and behaving like a clown?

Ellie, is it possible that the woman was trying to do a full curtsy down to the ground and just got stuck there? Not everyone is used to curtsying. I find Kate's skirt length inappropriate for the occasion, for meeting with kids and for a windy day. There's no way that Kate didn't know that her ass was showing in the back. Kate is an exhibitionist, and that's probably how she hooked Willy, so that's all she knows. The concept of being appropriate is not known to her. I think the proper response by the Queen, would be to cut off all vacations, her credit cards, and no visits to George & Charlotte from Grandma Middleton. Also, ban the kids from appearing at Pippa's wedding. Otherwise, it's just going to get worse. Kate has had enough time to learn how to dress on the job. When you start acting sexual around children (and this is not the first time she's done this), it's time to re-evaluate whether Willy should remain married to her. I actually think that Willy would love it if the Queen would tell him to divorce Kate. He's spineless and can't do it himself, but I suspect would welcome the chance to get rid of her. So would the Palace courtiers.

You know how your sweet girl child was so excited about buying that outfit a year ago? She had the perfect shoes, tights and top to go with it -- 'the perfect outfit' for the holidays. She wanted to wear the outfit again this year because it was so nice last year. Then she had that growth spurt. And now it looks like she's wearing her younger, shorter sister's clothes? Jacket too short above the waist. The skirt too far above the knees. Jacket not quite meeting the skirt where it should. So she put the black tights on to keep warm. Then the boots. And all it does it makes the outfit look like she borrowed it from a much shorter person. Or it shrank when it was cleaned. And it's just never, ever going to look good on her again? And it's a bit sad. But she won't concede that the time for outfit has passed. Yeah. It's like that.

I love her outfit. Miss Fairy would look fantastic in it (down to the boots). BTW Miss F. is 14.....But really I think it is such a cute suit for a young girl.

Kate is a disgrace to the British monarchy. Seriously, what 35-year-old professional would dress like that on a function? In any work environment that look would be frowned upon... she looks like a 10-year old girl all dolled up for a party... The jacket is nice in cut and color but the skirt... did she borrow it from one of Charlotte's dolls?? I wish I were a fly on HM's wall when she first saw pictures of Kate in that outfit...

If he wants to get rid of her I'm sure he will but right now she is the perfect scapegoat for his shortcomings because the media will always watch her much more closely than him. When she is seen out shopping no one asks what he does all day. When there are candid pics of her with the kids no one asks why he wasn't with them. And when he is mad because he thinks she embarrassed him somehow I'm sure there is a trusted Midds damage control programn (involving cheese toast and a recital of what he thinks are his greatest successes) starting the minute he gets home to appease him. Why would he want to change that? They are the perfect match.

I believe she did and said everything in her power to convince him that she was up for and willing to do whatever it took to be his partner. While it is just my opinion from observation and a feeling I can't shake, this girl was and is manipulative, spoiled, selfish and as arrogant as Will. Kate is the female Will; they are two sides of the same coin. Personally, I think that is a big part of the problem, they so alike they don't inspire each other to grow, change and become better. They enable each to continue their slacker ways.

They enable each to continue their slacker ways. Oh, I agree that Kate is no innnocent. I think her whole family worked for that one goal that would guarantee their name to be mentioned in history books. Will deserves to get her and her family because he thought he is a great manipulator and way too clever to be played by a social climber and yet he obviously married one despite - or precisely because - the RF wasn't convinced she is a good choice. But no matter what Kate did or tried to make him stay with her, in the end it was his choice that led to their boring wedding and all the dish-worthy embarrassments afterwards. And he has no one but himself to blame for that (although I think he will never be able to admit that).
