Take Louis along! 😺❤️

I thought that too!  Can you imagine??

It's nice to see how much more at ease and confident she has become over the years.  I'd love to see her do lots more of these types of outings.

Louis is at school. The BRF have never had a tradition of bringing children to engagements this young.

If Louis was to attend, I would imagine Kate's attention would be distracted by him, rather than focussing on the people she is visiting.

I can't imagine her actually doing it (although I love the idea of it and think it's brilliant that they do it in Luxembourg).  I was laughing at what a holy terror that little mischief maker would be.

Catherine has been given the gift of time:  to learn her role, become comfortable with the expectations of it and to adapt her skills and approach to her public appearances. Her adaption to her role(s) shows over time. I think she has been allowed that time to grow, been given good advice on becoming comfortable in situations and how to find the joy in her position and the opportunities to be found in it. She has also been given good support by her husband, her family and the staff of her office. IMHO.

Yes to all of the above. She is now so much more capable and comfortable than she was 10 years ago. Remember the too-short dresses? And the overdone eye makeup. And the general sense of physical discomfort, not to mention the sky-high stilettos? The new, more mature Kate has left that all pretty much behind.

I wonder if Kate is planning on making a trip to see England play in the Six Nations? They've already had one game at Twickenham (a loss to Scotland which Anne attended) and only have one more 'home' game left, against France next month. This Saturday is Wales v England in Cardiff, I can't imagine her attending that one as PoW in Wales as patron of English rugby (though Wills may attend?).
I'd hate for this to be another royal cause forgotten about. Anne does such a great job of patronising Scottish rugby.

“The Prince and Princess of Wales will reopen their sporting rivalry, attending the Wales v England rugby union international on Saturday - now on after the Welsh players yesterday dropped plans to strike. William’s patron of the Welsh and Kate of the English rugby union bodies.”

Not surprised to see that both are going to be present at the match.

You should have said so  - and you’d have bragging rights!

I did, last page or so. I could see the friendly rivalry headlines a mile away. I also said I wouldn’t be surprised if they brought George but they might not take him out of school for it.

I suspect they won't take him out of school.

It doesn't matter how old you get, buying snacks for a road trip should always look like an unsupervised 9-year-old was given $100.

Looks like a joint visit to south Wales on the 28th Feb, too, so the engagement rate has increased slightly  Thumb up

I personally don't see a meet and smile for what 15 minutes is an "engagement" but it will count in the "work stats"
