I want to walk up to either one of the Cambridge’s and ask them who they are and what have they done with the real Will and Kate?

Nice job on the video, Kate. Or whoever you are. 🤷‍♀️😀

This was them all along. It’s just the perspective that has changed. I have always appreciated their approach, steady and cautious, to everything they have done.

She looks very good here but a bit thin I mean her breastplate is showing. She has come into her own and I'm sure she is glad to stop the video chats and get out and meet people in person. Because I am late coming around to Kate - either good or bad - I don't know her history with this group but if a visit is overdue then good on her to make it one of the first ones after lockdown. She looks tan I suppose she has been gardening a fair amount but I wonder if Anmer is close enough drive to the beach. I remember that old film of Charles and Anne at the beach when they were buried up to their necks. That would be lovely if as a family they could find an isolated stretch of sand to just play and relax.

Kate has narrated a Wimbledon video. “It will be worth the wait.”

Wimbledon is my favorite tournament and I was so disappointed when it was cancelled (though it's completely understandable). She did a really nice job here. I try for tickets every year to no avail but maybe I'll see her there next year!

That's a nice video they put out. Is it official is Kate the new "tennis lady" like the Duchess of Kent used to be? I'm probably late to this news.

Kate’s been Parton of both All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club and Lawn Tennis Association since January 2017.  Before then The Queen was patron and only made a handful of appearances at Wimbledon throughout her reign.

The Duke of Kent has been President of All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club since 1969 so using The Duchess as the “tennis lady” was the obvious choice.  Looks like Kate has taken over which does make sense given her patronages, interest in tennis, age, and The Duchess of Kent’s desire to maintain a very low profile.

Great video. Great move for Kate. It sort of marks her territory in my eyes.

Thank you for your response oh Caroline. That makes sense and I forgot it was the Duke of Kent who has that role and the Duchess filled in as his "consort". Yes I agree this is Kate marking her territory. For some reason years ago when it was possible for Andrew to remarry a nice lady I thought maybe that would be a good role for her as a second wife of a son going further down the line. Clearly that train has left the station lol.

£1,500 Emilia Wickstead

I'm always shocked when dresses that expensive aren't lined or at least print their textile on both sides.

It's wonderful to see BBC doing this and it's great to see Kate supporting their efforts.  After all it's important for royals to fine a balance between working on their own projects, endorsing the work of others, and working collaboratively when possible.  Sounds like this is starting as an endorsement with plans to progress to a collaborative effort.

Smashing dress.

I'm not sure about adding a lining - it would affect the drape and movement of the dress. A one sided fabric, while not as aesthetically pleasing, does make sewing and construction easier.

Are those the same shoes from the EACH visit?

Oh boy, bad move with the hair, Kate.  Very disappointing.  The color could have been so much better.  And for heaven’s sake, she could at least pin it up out if the way and not let it hang in her face.

I didn’t even notice the dress.  Too much money for what it is.  Thumbs down on this appearance.
