I’m okay with Kate and a new green coat. All the other green coats that we never see on her again are being worn again, just not by her at big events. I imagine she wears them going to dinner at Pippas or M. Manor or whatever she does on her down time. And she probably gives things to staff and charities. She is the only working royal who still has both youth and glamour on her side so it’s good for business to see her in never before been seen clothing.

I just think that several of the coats look so very similar, that a new one doesn't make much sense. With a cream dress and brown boots, she could have worn almost any colour. No21 here> https://www.instagram.com...PRhM/?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y= IMO would have been better as it is slightly more brown and matches the boots better. |

No excuse in this day and age, in this economy, to have a dozen coats that look basically the same in various colours. It's absolutely ridiculous imo.
Her wardrobe is beyond insane and given the fact nothing has come up on the resale market we know it’s likely not rented or being resold. At this point we’ve gone from clothes horse to tone deaf. The only difference between her and people who buy fast fashion (kind that the wealthy claim is so bad for the environment and oh so trashy) is that she’s spending someone’s annual salary. |

But I hardly think her bespoke pieces from luxury brands or even her off the peg luxury pieces can be considered “economic diplomacy” or otherwise vital to the British fashion industry. |

I think that she is dressing exactly the way the king wants her to. She's not flashy for the most part, but is actually fairly conservative and, of course, supportive of British brands. And every coat anyone buys in emulation of Kate certainly helps the UK economy. I love her coats, for the most part, although I think that those greens are not her most attractive colors.
