Thank you, LA and SS!  Star

This is truly a tragic story, and must have been an enormous loss for the family.

Also, I see a big resemblance between the boys and CG and also Maddie’s kids.

Just went down the Wikipedia rabbit hole reading about Margaret and I'm amazed at how connected these royal families are. They're all cousins basically.

The court published photos of Margareta from the photo archive of the Bernadotte Library

I love the photo of Princess Margaretha and her children.  Smiley The boy on the left (is it Prince Sigvard?) looks a lot like Christian of Denmark to me.

I believe it is. In fact I see a lot of Joachim in him.

Beautiful necklace in the first photo - is it still in the family?

The necklace was turned into the Laurel Wreath Tiara. Prince Bertil inherited it after his mother and gifted it to Lilian, and it became known as "Lilian's tiara". After Lilian died, Victoria inherited the tiara

I was just thinking if it was the same piece since it looked so similar. Thanks for confirming it Smiley

I still prefer it as a necklace since it never seems to ger worked well into the hairstyles.

I have a feeling that this tiara will be Estelle's starter tiara. If so what a lovely tribute it would be to family and the history of the SRF.

I was thinking the same, it would be beautiful choice as Estelle's 1st tiara!

Two observations:
First the little girl in the pictures ( I assume it is Ingrid?) Looks like a dead ringer for Madde's little daughter (the elder, what's her name again?)
Second: indeed there were other children having to walk behind their mother's coffin at a very young age and in the midst of the public eye...amazingly you never heard Ingrid mention this as an excuse for any misdemeanor...

Prince Arthur seemed to be very close with his Swedish grandchildren. I’ve seen quite a few photos of him with the children even after their mothers passing. Two of his children predeceased him, and both of their oldest sons died young too (Gustaf Adolf and Alastair).
