What Prince is given the name of Ponce? Prince Emanuel Marie Ponce Francois Faucigny-Lucinge was born in 1866.

It's a name derived from Pontius. Old-fashioned and strange sounding now, probably perfectly fine back then.

she was named after the marguerite, the flower worn during the war as a symbol of the resistance to Nazi Germany. The Dutch name of this flower is margriet.

When was the last time a Prince was given the name of Geoffrey? Geoffrey Plantagenet was the fourth son of King Henry II   
of England. Geoffrey (1158-1186) became Duke of Brittany.

How often is a Princess named Kunigunde? Kunigunde of Bohemia (1265-1321) was the eldest daughter of Ottokar II of Bohemia and his wife Kunigunde of Slavonia.

The only surviving sister of Emperor Maximilian I ( father of Philipe II, the husband of Juana of Aragon), was named Kunigunde. She lived from 1465 to 1520 and was married to Duke Albrecht IV of Bavaria-Munich.

Was known as: Marijke ( a Dutch, to be exact Frisian, diminutive of Maria (Mary) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marijke )

Prince Rostislav Alexandrovich of Russia (1902-1978) was the son of Grand Duke Alexander Mikhailovich and Grand Duchess Xenia Alexandrovna. Rostislav had been the name of some Grand Princes of Kiev.

Queen Victoria's first grandson, Wilhelm II was a future heir to the German throne. The unity between the two countries, England and Germany was embodied in his very name. "Friedrich Wilhelm" was after his Prussian forebears and "Albert Victor" was after his British grandparents.

Prince Palatine Gustavus Adolphus was born on January 14, 1632. He was the son of King Frederick V and Queen Elizabeth of Bohemia. He was named after King Gustavus Adolphus of Sweden.
