An observation that has nothing to do with colour, forgive me:
But I am always struck by how old the last generation looks to me.
You look at pictures of a Anne-Marie, Sofia or Ann and think: oh, a bit dowdy, aren't you? And they were in their early forties - compare that with photos of glam and youthful looking Letizia, even Mary and Kate (who I know is not yet 40, but you get my drift).
Then you see pictures of those ladies looking younger and pretty and rather shocked one realises that at the time the picture was taken, those girls were barely out of the schoolroom... barely 20...
Will our children's generation look at our pictures too and think that we looked ..old?
