While this pic is in black and white, I have seen this very nice looking late 80's/early 90's taffeta outfit in color and it's a very becoming outfit for the times it was worn in. Fabiola also wore it to an anniversary or jubilee gathering for King Carl Gustav and Queen Silvia in Sweden - the picture on the stairs of so many royalty that we've seen a million times with Queen Juliana down front sitting and looking at the Swedish royal children sitting on the floor.

The one with the pants pulled up to her armpits?  Yes, I do believe that is the mare

Ask and you shall be given, fairy:

It is, as presumed, nothing to win a flowerpot with, as we say in Germany.
It's Jean Paul Gaulthier (either for real or imitating his design), but even the original design left looks like a carnival costume at best.

Well thanks heaps for the sleuthing. But in all fairness this is one example of "better bury all evidence", all pictures should burn along the dress. The model is horrid, but as Miss Fairy said, the final dress looks like one of those Chinese versions of a "designer frock": not remotely close and too bad to use to even clean your muddy wellies.
