Yes indeed, Principessa, thank you. She did look so pretty in pink, and the color shows off her brooches nicely. I'm going to miss those brightly colored coats and dresses.

That necklace looks like a string of eggs laid by a sea creature.  Yikes.  Like one of those fish where the female lays the eggs and the male swims by and fertilizes all of them at once.

I know! How Cordelia do you come up with such (vividly accurate) descriptions?

I had a student last year tell me, "I really wish I could see inside your mind and just see how your mind works.  I just wonder what it's like to be you!"  and I'm fairly confident it wasn't exactly a compliment!   Laughing

Take it as a compliment, even if it's not meant to be  Wink Smiley

My final internship supervisor in the early 2000s:

"I would like to know/see what is happening in that head of yours"

When I asked why etc:
Apparently he asked me fairly standard questions, to which he expected certain (kind of) answers. Apparently I often came up with (very) surprising answers for him. That's why he wanted to know how my brain did that, what happened in my brain.

My boyfriend makes similar comments from time to time. In addition to surprising reactions, he is surprised which connections/associations I make and how I can suddenly come up with very diverse information. But he often indicates that it fascinates him, how the hell it all works in my head / brain. He generally means it as a compliment, at least that's what he says.
