Well....all the females seem to have reworn outfits of MT, especially her daughter and daughters in law. It often came across as being cheap, but indeed you are right it would cost probably more to alter the clothing (to make them fit properly) then buying new ones.

I really hope it was Louise's desire to wear that hat.  She's such a lovely girl but she is still under her mom's fashion influence, or so it seems, and she would really suit a fresher, more modern but still feminine style.  That hat was silly when Sophie first wore it and it's no less silly 15 years later.  Surely Louise deserves a new hat for the Platinum Jubilee??

Saying this here so as not to derail the squealing over the tiara pics and wonderful image of the future queens (and grand duke  ) but:  One of M-M's dresses for I-A is lovely.  This navy one is gorgeous and timeless.  However, a second M-M dress for the ball tonight seems a bit much.  Let her have her own dress for her own debut.  (Also while I get that Sonja is the Queen and I-A isn't even the Crown Princess yet, Sonja's yellow gown seemed a bit too much in this setting.  Let all eyes be on I-A and her first tiara event.)

Wow! That is a long time! I must say, Maud really makes the dress her own and it suits her style so well. She was my favourite out of the Behn girls.
