The second dress was pretty but just looked so summery. If it was the same exact dress but in a dark red or green I would have loved it.

Interesting you should say this, Lizzie.  I agree.  The second dress was designed by Camilla Thulin.  Camilla was also at the Nobels wearing her own design.  The dark, rich reds and greens of her gown are stunning:

Also Magdalena Andersson, minister of Finances, wore the same designer for the banquet

In this picture Victoria looks like “Reina de la Primavera” means Spring Queen which is common in Latin America or “Prom Queen” and Madde and Snakia like bridesmaids  Secret

The colour of Sofia's gown has varied (to me) with the photos, appearing either almost aqua or a soft sage-green - but whatever, the emeralds don't go with it and the pearls would have been a better choice for the tiara.

On Day 1, I thought Victoria seemed distrait, not as genuinely and totally engaged as she usually is.

I like her floral gown very much, very imposing even without strong colours.

A short video by SVT about the jewels of the royal ladies with good view of the tiaras. I did not remember Sofia's one was so sparkling

This is the first time I actually have liked the Aquamarines. I usually think they are a bit boring/to light in their color but wow, they are beautiful up close!
It’s the other way with Sofias tiara, I usually like it in pictures but I didn’t like as much in this video. Strange.

Thank you for all the pictures and videos you post Arturo, I always hurry in to the threads to see what they wear because I know that you are quick to post pictures.  Star

Yes, at the left of the screen where you see the poster's name.  Under the poster name it says 'reputation' and under this it says 'add'.  You click 'add' to give a star! (I already gave you a star  )

Thank you for the star and the help! It’s very strange, but I don’t see ”add” under reputation, just online/offline  Confused

I think you have to have certain number of posts to be able to "add" reputation and see the button.

That makes sense, I was starting to wonder if I’m going blind becuase there is nothing blue or other colors, LOL. Well then I have to wait and start writing a list so I remember who to give stars to when I get that far. Phina, loubna and lilith added.

I think Silvia has not looked or acted well since her darling son announced his engagement while she was out of the country  in NYC.     Almost -as that was the last straw, and she is now just going thru the motion of living

I missed this NYC story, what happened?  I thought the engagement announcement was the same day they met the press with Silvia present:

Phone, thank you for sharing this photo! This dress would have been so much prettier for Victoria!
