With respect to that necklace, it is, to my eyes, way too much of a good thing.

This tiara would be lovely with a more graceful frame.

It kind of hurts my heart to see a diamond tiara on the head of a member of the Lesotho royal family. The order of nuns who taught me have operated schools and medical centers in Lesotho since way back when the country was known as Basutoland. And I know the poverty in the country is way way beyond terrible. Plus AIDS cut such a huge swathe through the country leaving thousands of orphans.  It just feels bad to me, even if it is a kind of modest-looking tiara.
