So delighted! I know Croatia are definitely underdogs when they face mighty french on the 15th, but one can wish for a miracle.

they will leave their everything on that field on Sunday eventhough I think French might be a bit too strong.
But as we've seen so many times before - cocky never worked out well, so maybe le coq gaulois might not be all that lucky this time Smiley

I'll def cheer for england on Saturday :D

Ich danke Dir sehr, geschätzte Kaiserin... Champagne
 Star
Das muss ja fantastisch schmecken.
Es ist noch Kirschenzeit in der Schweiz.

That was the video I mentioned Kaiserin!
You are awesome : enjoy your cherry Marmelade .
Gimme the receipe, please... Beer
İts 2:1 For Croatia now...
Come on guys , make your Queen happy.
Love how the spectators are singing the British anthem ...

OMG ... just finished cooking of Marmelade (8 glasses Cherry-Marzipan-Amaretto) and am now at the live stream ... another nailbiting extra time, I guess, and penalties at the horizon!

This here's just great, received by whatsapp:
https://mobile.twitter.co...17114109735817223/video/1

With pleasure, Ursiana:

My Cherry-Marzipan-Amaretto Marmelade

2 kgs of sweet black cherries > destone them, so that you have about 1,5 kg of fruit
3/4 of the fruit > puree them in the mixer
1/4 of the fruit > cut in quarters

Fill fruitpuree and fruit in a big pot (must have more than double the space the fruit occupies, as it will come up when boiling), add 100g grams of lukewarm marzipan, in small pieces. Cook slightly for 5 minutes.
Add 750 grams of jelling sugar (the so called 2:1 variety*)) and the juice of one big lime. Cook (bubbly) for further 5 minutes. Stir frequently.
When ready, add 6 spoons full of Amaretto, stir again.
Fill hot in twistoff glasses, close the lid, and let the glasses rest upside down for at least 45 minutes.
____

*) no joke, that's what this sugar is called here in Germany.
And while I am writing, this was what happened. So sorry for England.

But as I said France-Croatia yesterday ... well. World Cup of Surprises

I agree. After the Croatia - Russia game, I realized England had no chance of winning yesterday's match. Croatia was the better team.
Team England got lucky with the opponents they played and the whole country got carried away with dream of the cup coming home.If England plays well, they can take the bronze home Snare

On another note, our commentators have been making sour grapes comments after Sweden lost to England( it should have been us) and yesterday they said Denmark should have been the bronze medalist since Croatia could not beat us after 120 mins of play Tongue

Croatia will be hard to beat, but I hope France wins on Saturday Beer

big craze for juventus supporters over here.

an official juventus "7" customized tshirt costs 144 euros and they said they are selling it 1 every minute since CR7 "arrived" (he is still holidaying in greece and will do his medical tests only next monday so he is not a juventus player yet!)

i'm not a juventus supporter, but i'm happy to have to opportunity to see CR7 playing in my town's stadium in the near future!

ciao belle, friday 13th....😱🍀

Brilliant, spirited play by England and Belgium in the dying embers of this game ...
