According to the ABC newspaper, the visit would be from 9 to 11 January.

Nothing is official at the moment, this week there are elections in Catalonia and the political situation can change the agenda.

Unfortunately these visits are organized in advance, and they can not guess the political crises that are going to occur in Spain or in the United Kingdom.

The visit was postponed by the King of Morocco, without explanation at least public. The House of the King and the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs had already sent officials to Morocco to finish organizing the visit, and without notice it has been canceled 6 days before. There were dozens of Spanish businessmen with their plane tickets and hotels reserved that had to cancel at the last moment.

There seems to be some chaos with the Moroccan king's agenda, because in November there were also problems... and not because of unexpected political crises, .

if the problems come from the morroccan side that's mean they didn't get what they want from this visit,Morocco before had canceled( not postponed ) visits that didn't bring mush benefits because in the end those visits states ones especially are not only about the glamor of the royals they are bilateral ties and important deals

ps:the Moroccan/Spanish Spanishmen forum will take place in Casablanca anyway
also Mohammed VI this time was the one re-organizing his agenda for this visit he was meant to Visit in the first week of January Guine and Nigia to disccuss Morocco joing the CEDEAO.
not to mention from the beginning Morocco want a visit in spring for better preparations.....anyway and whatever the reasons it's pitty  i was looking forward let's hope March is the final date.

The visit was probably expected to take place this week. F&L cleared their agendas and they only have audiences (JC and Sofia are going to attend a concert that F&L have attended every year and the official celebration of the Rare Diseases Federation of which Letizia is the honorary president has been postponed to next week when it was supposed to be this one). It looks like MVI's health and the his surgery in Paris prevented this. According to a Spanish report Mohammed has only spent a week in Morocco this year, he's been to Gabon, to Hong-Kong and his French chateau and in Paris.

The agenda does not seem very interesting, very similar to the presentation visit, arrival one day in the afternoon and meetings with the Royal Family, and activities on the second day. At first it was expected that they would go to Casablanca to the Book Fair, but finally it seems that they will receive a group of writers in Rabat.

Wednesday 13

Arrival in Rabat (afternoon)

Welcome ceremony at the Royal Palace

Signing of bilateral agreements (five ministers of the Spanish Government participate)

Gala Dinner

Thursday 14

Wreath in the Mausoleum of Mohamed V

Meeting with Moroccan writers in Spanish language

Meeting with the Spanish community

King Felipe

Meeting with the Prime Minister and other political authorities
Act of constitution of the Economic Council Morocco-Spain

Queen Letizia

Visit to a school for foster children
