She definitely looks like someone holding some deep sadness within her. A lot of her spark is gone and she looks like she has lost weight. But one thing seems to be true is that her MIL and husband are great supports so I believe she is getting a lot of family love and support through this difficult time. WA knows what it is like to lose a beloved sibling even if the circumstances were different.

But I am sure its hard to not be with her mother and family in Argentina.

The black jumpsuit is lovely and only Maxima could pull of those earrings! Glad to see her out and doing duties. Hope she can enjoy the summer break.

In the program corporaties, health care institutions, school boards, business community, police, public prosecutor and employers are working together for a better future for Rotterdam Zuid. Vocational studies are the main part of Albeda

Queen Maxima is cover of Vanity Fair Spain  Jumping

It cost her to earn the respect of her father-in-law and learn to be the Queen of the Netherlands. "I do not know anything," she said. But he understood that she could become an agent of change. Today, Maxima of the Netherlands is a respected global leader who, with a smile and spontaneity, is fighting to include the less favored half of the planet in the world. For all this, stars in our August cover. This Wednesday on sale at the kiosks.

Some people talk about being change agents. Some people actually do it.

"It cost her to earn the respect of her father-in-law?"

Never heard of that and don't believe it for minute.

As much as I like Maxima and as much I would like an inside view to the opinions and life of queens/kings etc, maybe it's better for them not to give interviwes in lifestyle magazines.

Small mistranslation - it says 'su suegra' - her mother-in-law.

I also feel this way. I can't take people who give interviews to such publications seriously. What happened to the Economic, Time, etc.?

You are right about that, I just thought that probably with Max there could be some interest.

The title of Queen may not impress those focused on meritocracy (rightly or wrongly).  Lifestyle magazines, on the other hand, love a royal and a smart one is like gold.
