Victoria attended the Sea and Water Forum in Gothenburg. The focus this year is on the Baltic Sea.

She really needs a good haircut - shoulder length.

With her hair type a bob would require careful smoothing and styling every day, I think she was sticking to the tied down bun/ponytail because it's quick and she can do it herself.

Vic looks good - I think her dress is repeat...I'm tired of flowers and Victoria on the same sentence...that's too much now. I miss a lot her elegant Escada dresses

She is one of the loveliest royals in the world I think, but a makeover couldn't hurt. I spent some time working on these images to see if any of you thought CP Victoria could pull one 'do (or all) off.

Thanks for the work on that cool collection of hairstyles. Love her with a pixie style.

Definitely like the shorter  hairstyles - numbers 2 and 8 - giving a nice balance overall.

The ones with longer hair tend to draw attention "down" and have an aging effect.

Good job, Tomato!

 Hug

Thank you! It was interesting to see the results of different styles on Victoria. When her hair is pulled all the way back like she usually wears it, such a style makes her facial features seem too harsh. A feminine bob might soften those features a little. Plus it would be super easy to take care of. But whatever the case (clothing choices aside) she is a very beautiful lady regardless.

Judging by her hair when she's around any humidity I wouldn't go for a bob, pixie would be iffy as they can go poofy mushroom look easily.  Unfortunately the easiest/quickest is some length and pulling it back, there are just so many other ways to do it that look less harsh.  My daily bun takes 20 seconds to put up and uses one hair stick, which I change up depending on outfit and mood.

Maybe if she back-comb the front so that she got just a bit of height. It's the smashed-to-the-scalp that looks sort of severe. If I was in her position, I would ask for some styling tricks for having a ponytail, but with a more elegant finish. I guess that's a better way of saying it.

Apologies for not answering sooner! I totally get why she chooses something that simple but it doesn't flatter her at all.
