Expressen writes that Sofia has a new stylist named Lotta Carlsen

https://www.expressen.se/...--efter-systrarnas-kupp-/

Supposedly, it was Lotta who convinced Sofia to wear the folk costume of Dalarna to Gabriel's christening

The spelling of the last name suggests she is not Swedish but is Norwegian or Danish. Which would explain the christening disaster.

Lotta wouldn’t be the Danish form of the name. In Denmark, the normal form of that name is Lotte. Also, the regional dress thing at the christening doesn’t say “Dane” to me. So that would surprise me a lot, TBH. Of course, it’s just her lastname so it could be her married name.

Sofia's dress is this by Philosophy Di Lorenzo Serafini.  I like it but it's way too similar to the Nursing uniforms for this event!

Congratulations to Princess Christina on her Honorary Degree.  I like Christina a lot and she has always shown interest in science and medicine.    Thumb up

I agree.  Also, it looks ugly on Sofia. The lacy collar and sleeves remind me of doilies.

I absolutely adore her coat

The dress is extremely ugly.

so is Sophia now cosplaying an old victorian lady or what's happening here? 2018 is off to a real fizzle instead of a bang.

At least she got some real underwear on, thank goodness the girls are north of the equator now.

She might then be Norwegian? Posters here said it's normal and the custom to wear traditional/ folk dresses to christenings and similar.

I tried Google, and if I have the right person, her full name is Eva Charlotta Carlsen and she is in her late 50s. Definitely Swedish. She was born Håkansson.

I've never seen anyone wear a folk dress to a christening. To a wedding as a guest yes but not to a christening. I thought it was a bit tacky and like she was making herself into a giant exclamation point (no folk dress at Alex's christening), like she was trying to say "look everyone, I'm a SWEDISH princess, all these Bernadottes are foreign!!!" but a lot of people told me they thought her wearing the folk dress was a lovely thing and seemed to be happy about it.

I think he should. In the meanwhile Sofia can get herself a gun licence and learn to fly a helicopter. Why? Because a man who would be perfect for her is looking for her: http://www.dailymail.co.u...amin-Slade-70-single.html

Oh, look at this lovely young woman who so selflessly works with all those people  Angel  Halo

BTW: Weren't she supposed to distance herself from PP after her marriage? Or does it mean that no one still want to work with her in Sweden, nor have her as their patron? So in order to do something and be visible and look good, she shows herself in this kind of projects and show how much she cares about destitute  Roll Eyes You could do the same in Sweden, you know!

Oh sad. I hope they'll recover soon. They don't have children, right? At least no one else would be suffering.
